FAU: Verboten Kämpferisch!
Seit dem 11. 12. 2009, gilt faktisch für die FAU Berlin ein Gewerkschaftsverbot. Das Urteil erfolgte ohne mündliche Verhandlung. Selbst die Tatsache, dass durch die Neue Babylon GmbH, mit der sich die FAU Berlin seit Monaten im Arbeitskampf befindet, überhaupt eine Klage anhängig gemacht wurde, wurde der FAU Berlin nicht bekannt gegeben. Das Urteil geht weit darüber hinaus, dass der FAU Berlin die betrieblichen Rechte als Gewerkschaft aberkannt werden. Sie darf sich mit sofortiger Wirkung noch nicht einmal mehr als „Gewerkschaft“ bezeichnen.Der Kampf um die Gewerkschaftsfreiheit in Deutschland hat spätestens jetzt begonnen. Jegliche Solidarität ist nun von Nöten. Skandalisiert die deutschen Zustände, protestiert vor deutschen Niederlassungen, fordert die Revision des Urteils und die volle Betätigungsfreiheit für die FAU. This is a table of what public sector workers in Ireland really earn based on the data given in the reply to a Dail question in Feb 09.
The cancellation of the December 3rd strike is a blow to the developing movement against the cuts on the scale of the cancellation of the March 30th strike at the start of the year. The so called compromise ICTU have been negotiating for is a further blow, it seems designed to drive a wedge between workers and fails to answer the main problem public sector workers have, the inability to take further cuts. Testo del documento finale della Commissione Sindacale della FdCA, che si è svolta a Cremona il 22 novembre 2009 e alla quale hanno partecipato attivisti sindacali provenienti da Emilia, Liguria, Lombardia, Marche, Veneto, del settore privato e del settore pubblico.Mano a mano che si esaurisce l'effetto degli ammortizzatori sociali, con una prevedibile depressione occupazionale in febbraio 2010, si avviano i processi di ristrutturazione delle aziende nella direzione di un adeguamento della produzione al mercato contemporaneamente ad espulsione di forza-lavoro. Lo si avverte soprattutto nel settore metalmeccanico, chimico, ceramica, gomma-plastica, tessile, artigianato, in ossequio all'indicazione proveniente da Federmeccanica e Confindustria, per le quali per salvare le aziende, si deve procedere a licenziamenti. Ricorrendo eventualmente a forza-lavoro precaria per far fronte ad eventuali picchi produttivi...

Lors du mouvement de ce printemps, nous avons pu entendre le mot d’ordre "Grève Générale" émerger ça et là, de la bouche de militantes et militants révolutionnaires certes, mais surtout des franges les plus
déterminées de salariés en lutte. Ainsi, parmi les personnels les plus engagés de l’Education Nationale (minorité importante et très active) est apparue l’affirmation de la nécessaire confrontation générale sans laquelle leurs revendications propres n’ont aucune chance d’aboutir. Il en va de même, évidemment, pour tout mouvement catégoriel. Auparavant et en même temps, des sections syndicales d’entreprises licenciant
en masse se rencontraient pour construire une réaction des travailleurs à la hauteur des enjeux en dénonçant clairement le capitalisme et en défendant l’urgence de la construction d’un rapport de force offensif.

In May of 2023 several Black Rose / Rosa Negra (BRRN) militants organizing in the healthcare sector attended the Health Autonomy Convergence (HAC) in Durham, North Carolina. This is their collective reflection on and analysis of the event and of the prospects for radical labor organizing in healthcare more generally. No government can save us. Only the working class free itself. We need to make a revolution. We need to overthrow capitalism and build libertarian communism, worldwide. For this, the labour movement needs to be built anew. We need to organise in the workplace and rebuild our unions from the ground up. We need rank and file control. The practices by which we build our movement will be the ones that form the basis of the new society. It will only be harder the more the movement declines. Rebuilding can only be done through a rank and file insurgency. There may be times and places where it is appropriate to organise new unions (for example in entirely unorganised parts of the workforce, or where the existing union is wholly on the side of the bosses and cannot be recaptured by its members). Most workers, though, will not break with the officials until they are already mobilised and a practical decision is in front of them, so the insurgency must operate largely within existing unions. The working class of Australia has no interest in a war against Chinese workers and Chinese workers have no interest in a war with us. Militarization and war is a ruling class game. We have far more in common with each other than either of us do with the ruling classes of our countries. And just as so many Chinese workers (under much harsher conditions than our own) have had the bravery to fight the bosses and politicians who exploit and oppress them, rather than embrace a nationalist fight against ‘foreign forces’, we should also recognise that our main enemy is here at home.
