Nuevamente el pueblo ecuatoriano ha tomado las calles y las rutas. La Confederación de Naciones Indígenas del Ecuador (CONAIE) inició movilizaciones el 13 de junio en todo el territorio exigiendo el cumplimiento de una plataforma de 10 puntos básicos que hacen a exigencias sentidas por los y las de abajo. Cuando los pueblos se levantan son imparables y son capaces de cambiar la historia. Estos sucesos de repiten cada cierto tiempo y ponen en cuestión el desarrollo normal del “sentido común” capitalista de que no hay alternativa. ¡Claro que la hay! La acción de los pueblos rebeldes, que pusieron sus cuerpos para derrotar regímenes autoritarios, dictaduras o golpes de estado, demuestra la importancia del poder popular y la preparación revolucionaria para que se produzcan grandes transformaciones sociales.
El 19 de julio se celebran los aniversarios de la Revolución Española de 1936 y el de la Revolución de Rojava de 2012. Los dos procesos indican la tremenda capacidad de los pueblos, si bien nuestra tradición reivindica la Revolución de 1936 por estar impulsada por aquella gente que profesaban nuestras mismas ideas.

When the people rise up, they are unstoppable and capable of changing history. These events are repeated from time to time and call into question the normal development of the capitalist “common sense” that there is no alternative. Of course, there is! The action of the people in rebellion, who put their bodies into overthrowing authoritarian regimes, dictatorships or coups d'état, demonstrates the importance of popular power and revolutionary preparation in order for major social transformations to take place.

A constante renovação do anarquismo organizado no mundo anglófono levou a um reengajamento com as questões estratégicas fundamentais do anarquismo. De que maneira uma organização revolucionária deve estruturar-se? Como uma organização revolucionária deve lutar pelas reformas? Qual é o papel da organização revolucionária no processo revolucionário? Ao lidar com essas questões, os insights contemporâneos têm vindo, indubitavelmente, do movimento anarquista na América Latina, onde a tradição do anarquismo organizado e classista vem crescendo e obtendo bons resultados na luta, enquanto no mundo alglófono essa tradição tem estado em declínio há um longo período.
No espírito de esclarecer e difundir os debates do anarquismo latino-americano para o mundo anglófono, contatei Felipe Corrêa no início de 2022 e fiz a ele um conjunto de questões que vários companheiros levantaram nos grupos de leitura e nas discussões informais acerca do especifismo – questões que não podiam ser facilmente respondidas pelos textos disponíveis para nós. Suas extensas respostas às minhas questões – que abordam temas como conceito de poder, o papel das organizações e a relação entre anarquismo e política classista – oferecem insights valiosos e únicos dessa tendência contemporânea.

Ο Francesco Fantin και ο ιταλικός αναρχισμός στην Αυστραλία --- Οι τελευταίες μέρες του Fantin ήταν τραγικές, καθώς ήταν εγκλωβισμένος σε ένα στρατόπεδο με εκείνους τις πολιτικές απόψεις των οποίων είχε περάσει όλη του τη ζωή πολεμώντας. Στο ημερολόγιό του στο στρατόπεδο, ο Francesco κρατούσε σημειώσεις και έγραφε ποιήματα. Να ένα τραγικό, θρηνητικό παράδειγμα: «Όνειρα; Η πικρή πραγματικότητα του να βρίσκομαι πάντα εδώ ανάμεσα σε αυτή τη μολυσμένη πολεμοχαρή μάζα. Podemos decir que el sistema capitalista a escala planetaria ha entrado en una nueva etapa. Estamos en sus inicios, pero una nueva etapa al fin. Nueva etapa que se inicia claramente con la pandemia del COVID y las diferentes medidas impuestas por los Estados para controlar a las poblaciones más que a la enfermedad: los confinamientos masivos y la militarización de la vida social, las medidas represivas para imponer el confinamiento. Los Estados experimentaron con diversas medidas para controlar o conducir a sus poblaciones a su antojo, mientras se imponían medidas draconianas em términos económicos y sociales. Se hablaban de grandes “ayudas” e inversiones estatales, pero estas iban volcadas principalmente a las empresas multinacionales. Fue una reactivación del capital lo que impulsaron los diferentes gobiernos, pero jamás pusieron atención y contención social suficientes debido a las consecuencias de la pandemia y el gran freno económico que ella supuso. read full story / add a comment

We have recently sadly learnt that Turkish state repression has struck our comrade, Mahmut Demir – a member of Karala, an organisation which is part of our international coordination – who has been sentenced to 6 months and 7 days in prison without even having a hearing.
This prison sentence was imposed following the complaint of a fascist informant, for “Public humiliation of the Turkish nation, the Republic of Turkey, the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, the government of the Republic of Turkey and the judicial organs of the state”. Our comrade, who learned of the reasons for the decision via mail delivery, was not even summoned by the police or the prosecutor's office to testify or defend themselves throughout the trial.

The present text —the core of which was taken from the introduction that we wrote for the French edition of Social Anarchism and Organization, by the Anarchist Federation of Rio de Janeiro (FARJ)[1]— aims to discuss the question of the specific anarchist political organization, based on the contributions of Mikhail Bakunin, Errico Malatesta and the Organizational Platform for a General Union of Anarchists, written by militants organized around the magazine Dielo Trudá, among whom were Nestor Makhno and Piotr Archinov.
We are going to take up the contributions of Bakunin and Malatesta to establish a dialogue between them and the Platform, trace the similarities and differences between the proposals of anarchists who advocate an organizational dualism and those of the Bolsheviks, and we will see the proximity of Malatesta with the Synthesis, as well as the historical impact of the Platform, which will make it possible to elucidate the positions that have been disseminated about this debate.
