Κόντρα στο διάχυτο κλίμα απογοήτευσης, τον αναχωρητισμό και την παραίτηση, οι πρόσφατες διάσπαρτες αλλά σημαντικές ανταρσίες του κόσμο της εργασίας απέναντι στα αφεντικά τους δείχνουν ότι, όσο θα υπάρχει εκμετάλλευση ανθρώπου από άνθρωπο και αδικία, θα υπάρχει και αντίσταση. There is a difference between strategic divergence and ideological opposition. Nevertheless, even in tendencies that have relatively high ideological affinity, this misunderstanding can be found and has consistently led to splits in both anarchism and in popular movements. Some tendencies do not aim to organize on the political level, and in our current context, it makes sense to elaborate on the particular organizational and strategic problems with this kind of anarchist politics because, for us, part of our role as a small engine within a growing Popular Power is to keep generating and dissipating liberatory theory and practices. read full story / add a comment

Κάθε φορά που γίνεται αναφορά στις δραστηριότητες του Edgard Leuenroth είτε ως αγωνιστή της εργατικής τάξης είτε ως αναρχικού, γίνεται πάντα αναφορά στη γενική απεργία στο Σάο Πάολο το 1917, η οποία σταμάτησε όλο το εμπόριο και τη βιομηχανία της πόλης. Κάθε φορά που αναφέρεται αυτή η γενική απεργία, το όνομα του Edgard Leuenroth συνδέεται πάντα στενά με τα γεγονότα αυτά. This book, just published on Routledge Mental Health, considers how the artist’s underappreciated bisexuality influenced his anarchist and anti-militarist politics. The conversation contemplates queerness as a concept, based in part on Freudian psychoanalysis, and reviews Tolstoy’s same-sex attachments, from childhood to old age. Lev Nikolaevich’s contradictions and hypocrisy, as a landlord, a sexist, and a difficult husband to Sofia Tolstaya, are covered. Μερικές σημειώσεις εξ αφορμής της ταινίας για τον αναρχικό αντιφασίστα αντάρτη «Κίκο Σαμπατέ» που προβάλλεται αυτές τις μέρες (Φεβρουάριος 2023) στην Ισπανία. Ο αναρχικός Francesc Sabaté Llopart, γνωστότερος ως “El Quico”, συμμετείχε στον ισπανικό εμφύλιο πόλεμο, στην αντιναζιστική αντίσταση στη Γαλλία αλλά και στον ένοπλο αγώνα κατά του Φράνκο.
