L'accelerazione della campagna B.D.S. (Boycott, Disinvest, Sanctions, ndt) e la pressione internazionale stanno causando un certo panico all'interno dell'elite più ideologicamente sionista. La loro reazione è un'accelerazione della repressione verso i Palestinesi e degli sforzi per trasferirli da quelle aree chiave da sogno duro a morire per tenerle per sempre. Le forze di stato israeliane sostengono i coloni irregolari e danno inizio a molte azioni in proprio. I media israeliani sono del tutto ossessionati dalla escalation della campagna Boycott, Disinvest, Sanctions come se sapessero cose che non possono rivelare. Sia i sostenitori che i detrattori della fine dell'occupazione iniziano a ritenerla immanente in un futuro non lontano. Una componente del capitalismo israeliano, colpita dal boicottaggio e timorosa che possa andare sempre peggio ha iniziato a spingere per una accelerazione della fine dell'occupazione. Un centinaio di capitalisti israeliani si sono recati alla conferenza di Davos dove si sono ufficialmente costituti in organizzazione. Sul campo, sembra che le forze di stato israeliane stiano aumentando la repressione sulle lotte in corso così come stanno forzando gli sgomberi di interi villaggi da territori considerati strategici. The Israeli media is nearly obsessed with the escalation of the B.D.S. as if they know things they do not disclose. Both supporters and rejectors of the end of the occupation start to regard it as immanent and not in the far future. A section of the Israeli capitalist elite which is suffering from the boycott and fear its escalation start to organize to accelerate the end of occupation. 100 of them traveled for the Davos conference and official organization was established. On the ground, it seems that the efforts of the Israeli state forces escalate their repression of on going struggles and make more efforts to transfer villagers from strategic locations. All'inizio la lotta unitaria si focalizzava sul muro della separazione. C'erano nuove adesioni e molti villaggi lasciavano la lotta tradizionale. La speranza di una diffusa ed ampia lotta popolare non si era realizzata, ma stavano iniziando nuove lotte che facevano rete con azioni di lotta unitarie più sporadiche. Recentemente la rete delle lotte popolari unitarie ha promosso azioni cadenzate e quella di Ein Hajla è la seconda. La lotta incessante ha attratto l'attenzione internazionale e dato la base essenziale per la campagna B.D.S. La lotta persistente ha visto i suoi semi nel fermento sotterraneo che può erompere senza avvisaglie nelle condizioni appropriate. At the beginning, the joint struggle was focused on specific routes of the separation fence. There were some achievements and many villages dropped from the regular struggle. The hope for a wide spread popular struggle was not fulfilled, but additional struggles were initiated and the struggles networked with sporadic joint actions. Lately the network of joint popular struggles started regular actions - the Ein Hijleh is the second one. The continued struggle draw the international attention and give essential base to the B.D.S. The persistent struggle saw seeds in the subterranean ferment that may sprout without a warning in the appropriate conditions. The persistence and the approaching avalanche of the B.D.S. energize the more far sighted activists. I media israeliani della borghesia non fanno che parlare del boicottaggio contro Israele, che non solo è diventato significativo economicamente e politicamente ma che è a due passi dal diventate valanga. Molti attivisti che si attardano a sostenere che la battaglia non verrà vinta sul piano locale ma a livello internazionale vanno fuori di testa quando vedono che i vantaggi immediati risultano poi minimi. Costoro non comprendono che la lotta locale è il punto di Archimede, la leva su cui poggia la campagna B.D.S. (Boicottaggio, Disinvestimento, Sanzioni, ndt). Quindi, la lotta unitaria prosegue. Lo scontro che si è recentemente verificato a Ramallah tra la polizia dell'Autorità Palestinese e la manifestazione di sciopero degli impiegati presso l'agenzia dell'ONU si fa ancora sentire: gli attivisti di Anarchici Contro il Muro, molti internazionali ed anche molti palestinesi si stanno unendo alla lotta contro l'occupazione e contro il progetto coloniale. Le aspettative verso uno Stato palestinese sono basse e marginali e sono in pochi coloro che nutrono una qualche illusione verso l'attesa libertà in quella "Palestina libera" che si sente scandire negli slogan. Ai 53mila profughi africani viene applicata quella stessa strategia di sporadiche aggressione crudeli in un contesto di continua pressione e di maltrattamenti che viene usata contro i Palestinesi sia all'interno dei confini del 1968 che in quelli nuovi del 1967. Chi ha partecipato alla lotta con i Beduini la sta pagando. L'inusitata detenzione pre-processo di coloro (tra cui un ebreo) che hanno partecipato alla manifestazione di Hura contro la deportazione dei Beduini può essere una sorta di vendetta per la messa da parte della legge per i trasferimenti del Piano Praver, oppure il segno di una modalità del tutto nuova di reprimere il dissenso a sinistra. Aumentano le pressioni delle forze di stato contro i palestinesi attivi nella lotta unitaria. Il nuovo fronte di conflitto tra Stato e profughi africani si inasprisce. This week the focus of struggle enlarged a bit to include the ugly racist politics of the Israeli naZionist establishment regarding the refugees. The same strategy of sporadic vicious attacks to the background of ongoing harassment and pressure to get out applied to the Palestinians within the 1968 borders and the new 1967 ones is also being applied to the 53 thousand African refugees. The racism inbuilt in the Zionist settler colonialism which built Israel and expands it at every opportunity is only refraining from harsher measures because of international pressure. Though Israel never adopted international conventions (with the support of the overwhelming majority of its Jewish community), it did refrain from prolonged defiance of them. Thus, it did not kill the refugees freely on the border. It just made them as miserable as it can and put increasing numbers into concentration camps. [Italiano]

The unprecedentedly prolonged pre-trial detention of those involved with the Hura demo against the transfer of the Bedouins - including a Jew - may be in revenge for the dropping of the Praver transfer law, or a sign of an entirely new mode of suppressing dissent from the left. The state force pressures on the Palestinians involved in the joint struggle is escalating. The new front of conflicts between the state and the African refugees is escalating. The failure of the state to comply with the law passed against building concentration camps for refugees has ignited resistance from the refugees, culminating in a demo by a few thousand people on late Saturday evening in the commercial part of Tel Aviv, which a few hundred Israeli activists joined. The "electricity in the air" seemed to promise that the 50 thousand refugees are not going to take it passively any more. Israel may be forced to comply with the international refugees conventions. Nonostante l'inusuale freddo e la neve, non si sono arrestate le manifestazioni del venerdì contro l'occupazione, contro la repressione e contro gli abusi dei coloni. Gli attivisti israeliani non sono riusciti a raggiungere Qaddum ma erano lì moralmente, mentre Ni'ilin e Bil'in sono più facili da raggiungere, al pari di Sheikh Jarrah dove gli attivisti di Gerusalemme Ovest hanno spalato l'abbondante neve. La lotta dei Beduini e dei loro sostenitori contro gli sgomberi hanno portato al congelamento del Piano Prawer che continua ad essere al centro degli sforzi per far rilasciare i 13 manifestanti di Hura che da due settimane sono ancora in carcere.
