Il fallimento da parte dell'imperialismo USA nel prendere il controllo di paesi relativamente indipendenti come l'Iraq e la Siria ha portato al compromesso con l'indipendente Iran. Il ruolo minaccioso di Israele durante la trattativa ha permesso ad Israele di poter agire più liberamente nella repressione contro i Palestinesi. Il ritorno della Russia sullo scenario siriano ridà fiato ad Israele che può intensificare i suoi tentativi di assumere il controllo dell'area C in Cisgiordania. La terza intifada è una risposta disperata dei Palestinesi che vedono la fine dell'occupazione israeliana allontanarsi fino a scomparire all'orizzonte. The fiasco of the failed take over of the relatively independent Iraq and Syria, by US imperialism lead to the compromises with the independent Iran. Israel role of threat on Iran during the bargain gave israel increased freedom to suppress the Palestinians. The returning of Russia to the Syrian arena give Israel more rope and it use it to intensify the efforts to take over the area C lands of the west bank. The third intifada is a desperate response of the Palestinians who see that the end of occupation is removed to behind the horizon. The joint struggle continue not as a rising hope but as a stubborn Tsumud of not giving up. The intensifying attack of the Israeli state and its rightist agents ignited a lot of social and individual responses. The Israeli media and public is not in 100% support of the state activities. Le grandi mobilitazioni che hanno attraversato il Medio Oriente alla fine del 2010 sono state riassorbite se non addirittura trasformate in devastanti conflitti tra forze autoritarie in competizione. Quell'ondata risparmiò il Libano, che dopo il ritiro delle truppe siriane (di Assad) nel 2005 era governato da una classe dirigente che aveva da una parte i filo-iraniani, cioè la coalizione 8 marzo, guidata dagli "sciiti" di Hezbollah e dall'altro i filo-sauditi della coalizione 14 marzo, guidata dall'oligarca "sunnita" Hariri. read full story / add a comment

Dopo il fallimento dell'offensiva dell'anno scorso contro Hamas a Gaza, lo Stato di Israele vede diminuire il suo potere di contrattazione a livello internazionale, per cui manipola il malcontento interno aumentando l'invasione degli spazi palestinesi, sia quelli del 1967 nella Cisgiordania occupata sia all'interno dei confini del 1948. Il minore sostegno da parte delle classi dirigenti israeliane al primo ministro Netanyahu ed ai suoi accoliti lo inducono a spingere sull'azzardo politico che può trascinarlo nella sua prima grande sconfitta. L'ISIS, insieme all'Islam politico, ha molte somiglianze col Nazismo e con lo Stalinismo. Si tratta di un movimento complesso, al tempo stesso rivoluzionario e reazionario, anticapitalista e ostile alla classe lavoratrice, antimperialista e aspirante imperialista. Il video del mancato arresto del ragazzino di 12 anni a Nabi Saleh è stato visto da milioni di persone in tutto il mondo. Quel fatto e la manifestazione unitaria del venerdì successivo hanno dimostrato ancora una volta quanto la presenza degli ebrei Israeliani Anarchici Contro il Muro abbia impedito in passato ed impedisca ora l'esaurirsi della lotta palestinese non-armata in fiumi di sangue. Furono gli spari contro Gil Naamati nel 2003 in una azione unitaria con gli Anarchici Contro il Muro che causarono uno vero e proprio scandalo mediatico in Israele (tanto da costringere il capo di stato maggiore dell'esercito a recarsi in ospedale per le scuse ufficiali) e che portarono ad un cambiamento nell'ordine di fare fuoco allo scopo di disperdere manifestazioni non autorizzate nei territori occupati, se in quelle manifestazioni vi erano presenti degli israeliani. It was one shooting of Gil Naamati in 2003 in a joint action of the anarchists AATW that caused a real wide media scandal in Israel (which forced the higher commander of the army to visit him at hospital and apologize) that resulted in the change of shooting order about dispersing non armed demonstrations in the occupied lands when Israelis are involved. Nessuno poteva prevedere che un campeggio unitario di attivisti palestinesi ed israeliani a Masha 12 anni fa sarebbe stato la scintilla di un ampio movimento di lotta unitaria non armata che il sistema di occupazione israeliana non è riuscito a distruggere. Nessuno si aspettava la partecipazione di migliaia di attivisti e di decine di migliaia di manifestanti. Molte piccole vittorie e la campagna internazionale B.D.S. riscaldano i cuori dei non più tanti che persistono nella lotta unitaria nonostante il lutto per coloro che sono caduti, l'empatia con i feriti e la solidarietà con gli arrestati. Il forte legame di partnership tra gli attivisti palestinesi e gli Anarchici Contro il Muro è stato sorprendente. Deludente ma non sorprendente è il modo con cui gli ambienti anarchici israeliani si sono tenuti alla larga dagli Anarchici Contro il Muro quale prioritario obiettivo di mobilitazione. No one could predict that the joint camp in Masha 12 years ago of Israeli and Palestinian activists will ignite a wide movement of a joint non armed struggle which the Israeli occupying system will fail to extinguish. The thousands of activities and the tens of thousands of participates were not expected. Many small victories and the international B.D.S. warm the hearts of the not too many who persist in the joint struggle in spite of the mourning of those killed, empathy with the injured and solidarity with those arrested. The strong bond of partnership between the Palestinian activists and the Israeli Anarchists Against the Wall initiative was surprising. Disappointing but not surprising is the way the people of the Israeli anarchist scene refrained from adopting the initiative as the main recruiting mission. E' dura per molti attivisti, quando il significato reale della lotta non si concretizza in conquiste tangibili, ma in una lotta globale a livello mondiale. Questa settimana, il livello globale e quello della concretezza si sono combinati nella lotta contro la distruzione del villaggio di Susiya che ha avuto eco e sostegno a livello internazionale, costringendo Israele a rinviare se non a cancellare la demolizione del villaggio. Alle pressioni delle potenze imperiali su Israele si è aggiunto l'avvertimento della UE sull'approssimarsi di sanzioni contro il sistema bancario israeliano per il suo sostegno ai progetti dei coloni nella Cisgiordania occupata. In my opinion the best attitude towards Rojava is “supportive and being critical” at the same time. Criticizing it alone and keeping distance from it does not benefit our current anarchist movement. This attitude again shows incapability of recognizing the reality of the movement, and would bring the blame of history over us. Meanwhile supporting it without criticizing its negative sides again shows that we do not see this movement realistically. Having this attitude, once the movement fails to meet our demands, we will be very disappointed and keep ourselves a far distance from any movement in the future. read full story / add a comment

It is hard for many activists when the real meaning of the struggle are not concrete achievable gains, but a global worldwide struggle. This week, the concrete and the global merged when the struggle against the destruction of Susiya village recruited international support and forced Israel to delay or even cancel the demolition of the village. Pressure from the imperial powers on Israel was joined by European warning about approaching sanctions against the Israeli banking system for its involvement in the settlers' projects in the occupied West Bank. It seems the erosion of Israeli immunity from paying for its war crimes is collecting momentum. The Israeli media is full of news about B.D.S. - the joint struggle in which thousands of international activists participate, contributing a lot. L'1 gennaio del 1994 in Chiapas le masse innalzarono la bandiera della ribellione giusto dopo che il mondo capitalista aveva celebrato il suo trionfo sulle rivoluzioni del 20° secolo e si accingeva a lanciare la globalizzazione neoliberista a livello mondiale. Ma la lotta è proseguita con nuove modalità. I sorprendenti sviluppi nella Rojava, in cui le principali potenze imperialiste si trovano a dare sostegno aereo ai Curdi antiautoritari ed anticapitalisti di Siria, sono come uno stormo di passeri che segnano l'arrivo della primavera. But the struggle continued in entirely new mode. The amazing development in Rojava in which the main imperial powers find themselves giving aerial support to the anti authoritarian anti capitalists Kurds of Syria is like a flock of sparrows that mark that the spring is already hear. As part of the imminent change is the panic of the Israeli Zionist ruling elite from the faster advance of the B.D.S.... We cannot measure the contribution of each act of struggle to the change, but it seems that the many thousands of international activists who participated with us in the non armed joint struggle against the separation fence, the settlers, and occupation have a significant share. I danni della campagna BDS sull'economia israeliana sembrano essere ancora marginali... ma questi margini si stanno allargando velocemente. Già alcune imprese sottoposte a pressione perché operanti nelle aree degli insediamenti dell'occupazione del 1967, si stanno ritirando nei territori israeliani del 1948, pur rinunciando così agli aiuti governativi e ad una manodopera a minor costo. I media israeliani si riempiono di avvertimenti e dei timori dei commercianti.
