Θεωρούμε ότι είναι καιρός να επανεξετάσουμε πλήρως τη λειτουργία της κοινωνίας, αναζητώντας την ικανοποίηση των αναγκών όλων. Μπορούμε να βρούμε τρόπους και μηχανισμούς φροντίδας και προστασίας της φύσης για να εγγυηθούμε ζωή. Obre un nou escenari i s’inscriu, com dèiem en anteriors anàlisis, en l’onada de mobilitzacions que venen desplegant els pobles llatinoamericans (Haití, l’Equador i en altres països amb menor intensitat). O ano de 2020 começou com algumas mudanças na região, mas sobretudo com a continuidade da imensa mobilização do povo chileno, essa revolta popular que dura já muito mais do que cem dias e que mudou a situação social e política daquele país, mas também da região. Ela abre um novo cenário e se inscreve, como dizíamos em análises anteriores, na onda de mobilizações que os povos latino-americanos vêm realizando (Haiti, Equador e em outros países com menor intensidade). São tempos de povo na rua, são tempos de luta.

Ao mesmo tempo, começa no mundo uma crise econômica que se aprofunda com o coronavírus e seu impacto nos mercados internacionais. A questão do petróleo e seus efeitos nas economias periféricas da América Latina também podem impactar no custo de vida e na legitimidade da tecnocracia ultraliberal que continua fazendo parte dessa nova fase no nosso continente.

Mas a pandemia do coronavírus traz também uma série de mudanças nessa etapa, que é difícil e prematuro avaliar seus efeitos. No entanto, seu impacto nos obriga a falar de uma situação nova, uma etapa global que está mudando com uma política de controle de grandes populações e aumento de medidas repressivas, em que se tornam evidentes, além do mais, os estragos ocasionados por mais de três décadas de neoliberalismo com o desmantelamento da saúde pública e da previdência social.

Vamos dividir essa análise de conjuntura em duas seções: a primeira abordando a mobilização no Chile e as mudanças políticas e sociais no continente, e a segunda com uma análise inicial acerca da nova conjuntura desatada a partir da expansão do Covid-19. read full story / add a comment

El 2020 se inicia con algunas modificaciones a nivel de la región pero sobre todo con la continuidad de la inmensa movilización del pueblo chileno, esa revuelta popular que lleva ya bastante más de 100 días, ha modificado la situación social y política de dicho país, pero también de la región. Abre un nuevo escenario y se inscribe, como decíamos en anteriores análisis, en la oleada de movilizaciones que vienen desplegando los pueblos latinoamericanos (Haití, Ecuador y en otros países con menor intensidad). Son tiempos de pueblos en la calle, son tiempos de lucha.

Al mismo tiempo, empieza en el mundo una crisis económica que se profundiza con el coronavirus y su impacto en los mercados internacionales. La cuestión del petróleo y sus efectos en las economías periféricas de Latinoamérica también pueden impactar en el costo de vida y la legitimidad de la tecnocracia ultraliberal que sigue como parte de esta nueva fase en nuestro continente.

Pero también, la pandemia del coronavirus trae una serie de cambios en esta etapa que es difícil y prematuro estimar su calado. Sin embargo, su impacto nos obliga a hablar de una situación nueva, una etapa global que está cambiando con una política de control de grandes poblaciones y aumento de medidas represivas, donde se hacen evidentes además los estragos ocasionados por más de tres décadas de neoliberalismo con el desmantelamiento de la salud pública y la seguridad social.

Dividiremos este análisis de coyuntura en dos secciones: una primera abordando la movilización en Chile y los cambios políticos y sociales en el continente y una segunda con un análisis primario acerca de la nueva coyuntura desatada a partir de la expansión del Covid-19. 2020 has started with some changes at region level, and especially with the continuity of the huge and incredible mobilization of the Chilean people. That popular revolt which has been through more than 100 days, has changed social and political situation of that country, and also has impacted the entire region. New scenery appeared and, as we said in preceding analysis, comes within the framework of the huge wave of popular mobilizations that’s been deployed for Latin Americans communities (Haiti, Ecuador, and other countries with less intensity). As we can see, it’s time for the people on the streets, these are fighting times. At the same time, it’s starting all over the world a new economic crisis that’s being increasing with Coronavirus and its impact on international markets. The issue of Oil and its effects on peripheral economies from Latin America also can impact the cost of living and the ultra-liberal technocracy’s legitimacy, which continues being part of this new phase all over our continent. But also, the coronavirus’s pandemic brought with it a series of changes in this new phase, which is difficult and premature to judge its impact. Nevertheless, its impact compels us to discuss a new situation, a global phase that is changing with masses control policies and increasing repressive measures, and there’s where the three decades of neoliberalism’s ravages becomes evident with the breakdown of public health and social safe measures. We divided this analysis into two sections: a first one addressing Chilean mobilization and social and political changes over the continent; and a second one with a primary analysis about the new situation that has been triggered since Covid-19‘s expansion. Other areas of struggle are also vital. People can and should struggle against oppression wherever they find it and struggle outside the workplace can win reforms and radicalise people. Our struggles outside the workplace should also be directed towards building a force that can take its politics inside it. Ο Aron Davidovich Baron γεννήθηκε το 1891 στο χωριό Hlynets στην επαρχία Κιέβου στην Ουκρανία σε μια φτωχή εβραϊκή οικογένεια. Εργάστηκε ως αρτοποιός. Είχε γίνει αναρχικός στα σχολικά του χρόνια. Γύρω στο 1906 ασχολήθηκε με την επαναστατική δραστηριότητα στο πλαίσιο της Ένωσης Αρτοποιών Κιέβου. Συνελήφθη και εξορίστηκε το 1907. Μαζί με τη σύζυγό του Fanya κατέφυγαν στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες. Εδώ ενεργοποιήθηκε στο πλαίσιο της Russian Workers Union (Ρωσική Ένωση Εργαζομένων) και των Βιομηχανικών Εργατών του Κόσμου (IWW) από το 1912. Υπήρξε συν-συντάκτης της αναρχικής εφημερίδας “Alarm” του Σικάγου από το 1915, με την Lucy Parsons επίσης, ενώ έγραφε και στην εφημερίδα της Ρωσικής Ένωσης Εργαζομένων “Voice of Labour “ (“Φωνή της Εργασίας”). Συμμετείχε ενεργά σε δραστηριότητες στις κοινότητες των Εβραίων και Ρώσων εργαζομένων. Αρκετές φορές συνελήφθη για σύντομες περιόδους.
