Facing an economic crisis of world historical proportions, the worst since the Great Depression, the United States has already responded with striking political changes, particularly the election of the first African-American president. What is likely to happen in the future and what should be the response of revolutionary class-struggle anarchists? read full story / add a comment

A debate originally hosted by Znet, in which Michael Albert and Wayne Price put forward their respective positions and reply to each other in a series of 10 short articles. Wayne Price, a member of the North American anarchist organization NEFAC and a regular contributor to Anarkismo, argues the case for Anarchist Communism, while Michael Albert, co-author of Parecon and founder of Znet, speaks on behalf of Participatory Economics, or Parecon. Each article is then commented upon by the other author, who then each have an opportunity to respond before making a final conclusion. read full story / add a comment

This is a part of an exchange on Znet which contrasts revolutionary class struggle anarchism with Parecon ("participatory economics"). The following article is meant to follow an essay by Michael Albert, co-author of Parecon theory: "Parecon and Movement Building" which can be found at http://www.zcommunications.org/znet/viewArticle/18943. read full story / add a comment

İsyankar halk güçlerinin sindirilmesine hizmet eder. read full story / add a comment

Central to anarchism is the belief in self-organization and self-determination of the people. But there are topics on which many anarchists reject the pro-freedom position, paticularly involving free speech and also national self-determination. read full story / add a comment

[ English] read full story / add a comment

An Anarchist View of the U.S. Elections
In the United States, there has developed an enthusiastic movement of support for the Democratic presidential candidate, Senator Barack Obama. Besides the large forces he appeals to, especially among young adults, he is overwhelmingly supported by the left: liberals, social democrats, and Stalinists. I appreciate the movement-like aspect of his popular support, yet I personally will not vote for him. [ Italiano] read full story / add a comment
