FdCA statement The 2007 Budget has the hands of the European Union around its neck. Lowering the GDP/deficit ratio to below 3% as priority and reducing the debt - this is what the government hopes to achieve by cutting public expenditure and finding new resources. And instead of redistributing the wealth, this work of frenzied accountancy rakes in billions of Euro by getting the money from the usual places - from our wages, our severance pay, and from the pensions of workers of all kinds.
The 2007 Budget has the hands of the European Union around its neck.

Have they all gone now? 18:55 Thu 17 Nov 0 comments Decades of rampant neoliberalism, and now Western economies are being faced with the bill. Decades of wage cuts, privatization, public service cuts, the shifting of wealth from production to finance, are now handing over the bill to various States. [Italiano] [Castellano] 6 September General Strike - the indignant fight back 17:28 Sun 04 Sep 0 comments The general strike called for 6th September 2011 by the CGIL and most of the grassroots unions comes at a crucial time for the fate of the working class in Italy, to a backdrop of an increasingly violent crisis throughout the continent which is hitting the living conditions of Europe's proletariat. [Italiano] Urgent state of attack on the world of labour 17:48 Wed 16 Jul 0 comments Among the various "urgent" matters set out in the articles of the Italian government's latest executive order, some stand out as being apparently incongruous, such as the re-financing of military missions, the abrogation of local housing tax, a boost for the high-speed TAV train line, funding for oil and gas exploration in the Adriatic and for nuclear research, and further donations to the bosses in the form of greater flexibility and precarity. The Two Bosses 02:46 Sun 15 May 0 comments Statement by the Federazione dei Comunisti Anarchici A poor summer Jul 14 0 comments The purchasing power of our wages is collapsing, pensions conceded by the government allow no dignity to old age, despite the odd arrogant handout. Low wages provoke a general fall in consumption. We just cannot cope with inflation, with the price of oil and food or with our mortgage instalments. But what matters if the workers are poorer and poorer? Is neoliberalism finished? Have they all gone now?
