En este texto, presentamos un análisis comparativo entre ambos movimientos, fijándonos en los contextos, particularmente en aspectos demográficos, políticos, económicos y de situación internacional, en las características generales de las protestas, en materia de duración, distribución geográfica o afectación de la movilidad y de los actores sociales en miras a los liderazgos, la actividad obrera, de los pueblos indígenas y negros, de las mujeres y las disidencias sexuales y de las anarquistas como sector político.
Hoy como ayer, la lucha es por tierra, dignidad y libertad.
En este texto se presenta una reflexión sobre las jornadas de protesta campesina del 21 de febrero de 1971 en Colombia, que inspirarían luego la conmemoración del Día Nacional de la Lucha Campesina. Para tal fin se inicia presentado un contexto global, se continúa con un contexto nacional, se analizan los movimientos populares del periodo en el país, se analiza el movimiento campesino y sus actividades durante el periodo y se finaliza con unas conclusiones con miras al presente.
En el presente escrito se realizan algunas reflexiones sobre el paro cívico nacional del 14 de septiembre de 1977. Se analiza así la situación internacional y nacional en las que se inscribe el movimiento, la preparación y el desarrollo del paro general, y se plantean algunas perspectivas para el presente.
