"Journée de résistance et de lutte / Contre la culture du viol, les féminicides et le patriarcat"
Il y a plus de cent ans, le 8 mars 1917, les ouvrières de Saint-Pétersbourg (Russie) se mettaient en grève et manifestaient pour réclamer du pain et la paix et déclenchait ainsi un mouvement révolutionnaire historique. Le 8 mars de lutte pour les droits des femmes était lancé. [Castellano] [Ελληνικά] [English] [Italiano]
Une double exploitation : salariale et domestiqueLa double journée de travail est la réalité que connaissent la grande majorité des femmes à travers le monde : après la journée à bosser pour leur patron, les femmes rentrent et font tout le travail domestique et de soin, la fameuse « re-production de la force de travail » dont ont besoin les capitalistes. Et bien évidemment, pas de contrepartie financière pour ce travail invisible.Dans la sphère du travail rémunéré, les postes occupées majoritairement par les femmes et les minorités de genre reproduisent un schéma similaire. Ce sont des postes souvent peu visibles, peu reconnus, dévalorisés, précaires… et ô combien indispensables. Caissières, soignantes, agentes de nettoyage : la crise sanitaire a révélé combien la société reposait principalement sur leur travail, rémunéré ou non. Cette double exploitation est la condition sine qua none pour que ce système fonctionne. C’est pour cela que la culture patriarcale déploie aussi intensément les éléments idéologiques indispensables à sa légitimation et à sa reproduction. Le mouvement ouvrier a trop longtemps failli à organiser les secteurs féminisés. Arguant d’un prétendu manque de combativité dans le tertiaire, que les secteurs féminisés n’étaient pas des secteurs stratégiques dans l’appareil de production ou encore que les femmes seraient moins à même d’occuper des responsabilités politiques ou syndicales ou que leur tempérament ne s’y prêterait pas… Les prétextes sont nombreux et persistent jusqu’à aujourd’hui pour ne pas remettre en cause la culture patriarcale sur laquelle s’est construit historiquement le mouvement ouvrier, reléguant les femmes aux rangs de sous-fifres ou pire, de « compagnes de ». Pourtant, en creusant un peu, l’histoire est riche des nombreuses grèves victorieuses et de la combativité des femmes et des minorités de genre. Toujours, elles se sont soulevées contre cette surexploitation qui est le produit de l’alliance du patriarcat et du capitalisme. Augmenter les salaires, reconnaître les qualifications, améliorer les conditions de travail des femmes et des minorités de genre et combattre les violences sexistes et sexuelles au boulot : autant de pistes que le syndicalisme révolutionnaire doit prendre réellement en charge au plus vite. De la même manière, il est urgent de répartir et de revaloriser le travail domestiques et notamment les tâches de soin. C’est une nécessité, pour les femmes et les minorités de genre mais aussi pour la perspective de changement social radical que nous portons toutes et tous dans nos cœurs et dans nos luttes. La grève féministe est un des outils à notre disposition pour accélérer cette indispensable transformation et, in fine, la chute de l’alliance criminelle du patriarcat et du capitalisme. Et la grève ne s’arrête pas aux portes de l’entreprise : elle peut être aussi la grève de la consommation et du soin (pas de courses, pas de tâches ménagères, pas de prise en charge gratuite des enfants et des ainé·es pour le compte de tous…). Les Etats et les réactionnaires font la guerre aux femmesLe patriarcat, c’est l’exploitation matérielle, symbolique et économique des femmes et des minorités de genre. Mais c’est aussi l’appropriation de leurs corps, par la violence et par la limitation de leurs droits.Ce 8 mars 2022 prend place dans un contexte international où éclatent des conflits de grande ampleur et où les secteurs réactionnaires et misogynes de la société tiennent l’appareil d’Etat et sont à l’offensive, comme en Afghanistan, mais aussi en Pologne ou dans plusieurs autres Etats. Les violences sexistes et sexuelles se font encore plus nombreuses dans ces situations spécifiques et les femmes se retrouvent toujours en première ligne des politiques de terreur, de viols systématiques et du maintien des femmes dans le giron de leurs oppresseurs. En outre, en 2022, les femmes n’ont toujours pas la possibilité de disposer de leur corps de nombreux pays et là où celle-ci existe formellement, l’accès à l’avortement et autres contraceptions est remis en cause par l’extrême-droite ou les politiques d’austérité…. Derrière ces freins et ces réticences, se cache l’idée que les femmes ne sont pas vraiment des êtres responsables. Avorter est une liberté indispensable et transformatrice pour les femmes. C’est le moment le plus évident où une femme se choisit librement avant tout autre chose. Les femmes sont des êtres désirants quand elles avortent. C’est pourquoi la lutte pour l’avortement est centrale pour l’émancipation de toutes. L’avortement doit être libre et gratuit, partout, tout le temps ! S’organiser et lutter contre le patriarcat, le capitalisme, l’Etat et les réactionnairesAujourd’hui, dans plus de 50 pays, les femmes et les minorités de genre participent au mouvement de grève internationale du 8 mars dont la dynamique a été renouvelée en 2017 grâce, notamment, aux féministes argentines en lutte. Elles nous disait alors : « Nous, les femmes dans le monde, nous nous organisons en une épreuve de force et en un cri commun : la Grève Internationale des femmes. Nous nous arrêtons. Nous faisons grève. Nous mettons en pratique le monde dans lequel nous désirons vivre. »Nos organisations font leur la lutte pour l’émancipation des femmes et des minorités de genre et encourage chacune d’entre elles à renforcer le combat de classe en investissant et en prenant leur place dans l’ensemble des organisations sociales (syndicats, organisations de jeunesse, organisations communautaires etc) et politiques. La grève féministe le 8 mars est un des outils que nous mettons en avant et que nous défendons dans cette lutte contre l’oppression des femmes et des minorités de genre et, avec elles, de tou·te·s les opprimé·es à travers le monde. Celle-ci doit se construire depuis la base, là où nous travaillons, où nous étudions, où nous habitons, au sein de chaque organisation syndicale et sociale, en insistant sur l’action directe, l’engagement et la force de celles qui luttent chaque jour pour la révolution sociale et en rejetant les tentations normalisantes et institutionnalisantes des gouvernements qui cherchent à modérer, maquiller et ainsi récupérer nos luttes pour leurs perspectives réformistes. Redgrave made her acting debut on stage with the production of A Touch of Sun in 1958. She rose to prominence in 1961 playing Rosalind in the Shakespearean comedy As You Like It with the Royal Shakespeare Company and has since starred in more than 35 productions in London's West End and on Broadway, winning the 1984 Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Revival for The Aspern Papers, and the 2003 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play for the revival of Long Day's Journey into Night. Redgrave made her film debut starring opposite her father in the medical drama Behind the Mask (195, and rose to prominence with the satire Morgan: A Suitable Case for Treatment (1966), which garnered her first of her six Academy Award nominations, winning Best Supporting Actress for Julia (1977). Her other nominations were for Isadora (196, Mary, Queen of Scots (1971), The Bostonians (1984), and Howards End (1992). Among her other films are A Man for All Seasons (1966), Blowup (1966), Camelot (1967), The Devils (1971), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), Prick Up Your Ears (1987), Mission: Impossible (1996), Atonement (2007), Letters to Juliet (2010), Coriolanus (2011), Cars 2 (2011), and The Butler (2013).
A member of the Redgrave family of actors, she is the daughter of Sir Michael Redgrave and Lady Redgrave (Rachel Kempson), the sister of Lynn Redgrave and Corin Redgrave, the wife of Italian actor Franco Nero, the mother of actresses Joely Richardson and Natasha Richardson and of screenwriter and director Carlo Gabriel Nero, the aunt of British actress Jemma Redgrave, the mother-in-law of actor Liam Neeson and film producer Tim Bevan, and the grandmother of Daisy Bevan and Micheál and Daniel Neeson.
