Les assassins de Clément se retrouvent une nouvelle fois devant le tribunal, après avoir fait appel de leur première condamnation en 2018. Le lendemain, une manifestation pour le huitième anniversaire de la mort de notre camarade se tiendra le 5 juin à Paris. Une mobilisation qui en appelle d’autres... Vendredi 4 juin, la cour d’assises d’Evry a condamné en appel les deux anciens skinheads néonazis pour la mort de notre camarade Clément Méric à huit et cinq ans d’emprisonnement. Ces peines moins lourdes qu’en première instance, ont néanmoins confirmé que ce sont bien les nervis fascistes qui sont à l’origine de l’attaque et ont porté les premiers coups. Dans un contexte global, particulièrement propice aux discours autoritaires, nous avons vu ces derniers jours s’accroître les violences émanant de groupes d’extrême droite à Lyon, Orléans, Clermont-Ferrand, Montpellier, Strasbourg… Ne nous y trompons pas, la politique sécuritaire, répressive et fractionniste du gouvernement, qui préfère de son côté combattre le supposé danger islamo-gauchisme dans les facs ou l’écriture inclusive à l’école, est directement coupable de laisser ces nervis fascistes agir en toute impunité. Samedi 3 avril dans l’après-midi, la Maison de la Mésopotamie située dans le 7e arrondissement de Lyon, a été violemment attaquée par un groupe de fascistes appartenant aux Loups Gris (extrême-droite turque). Quinze jours à peine après l’horrible assassinat de Samuel Paty, un homme, se revendiquant là encore de l’intégrisme islamiste, a tué trois personnes à Nice le jeudi 29 octobre. L’UCL toute entière est révulsée par ces nouveaux meurtres et veut témoigner ici de ses condoléances aux familles des victimes et à leurs proches. Les assassins qui tuent ici comme Daech en Syrie sont parmi nos pires ennemis et l’ensemble des forces progressistes doit faire rempart à leurs agissements criminels. Ccommuniqué de la CGA en soutien aux militant-e-s de Chambéry suite à l'attaque fasciste du 20 octobre. Les attentats de Bruxelles ont d’ores et déjà des conséquences néfastes sur les classes populaires, les musulmans et le mouvement social. Après les assassinats de janvier 2015 le gouvernement compte faire voter en urgence une nouvelle loi antiterroriste. Celle-ci constitue une grave atteinte aux libertés publiques dans un contexte de répression politique systématisée.

Communiqué de la CGA suite à l'ouverture d'un squat fasciste à Lyon
Le carnage perpétré au siège de Charlie Hebdo et le meurtre de clients juifs dans un supermarché casher ont suscité une vague d’émotion légitime que nous partageons. Mais la colère ou la peur sont toujours mauvaises conseillères et il faut maintenant s’interroger sur les répercussions politiques de cette tuerie et démêler les discours pour tenter d’y voir clair.
Si l’extrême droite est systématiquement productiviste et partisane de la croissance, elle peut teinter son discours d’un écologisme de façade, où la nature est vue comme un élément de l’identité nationale. Antihumanistes et malthusiennes, ces conceptions peuvent attirer quelques écologistes perdus, la vigilance est donc de mise.
Le duo de bras cassés de la politique formé par Alain Soral et Dieudonné va fonder un nouveau parti. Ils sont enfin sortis de l’ombre en affichant leur proximité avec le Front National. Ce que nous savions déjà, ils l’assument maintenant publiquement.
Le Front National tiendra congrès les 29 et 30 novembre à Lyon. Du côté des forces antifascistes, la mobilisation est de mise : une manifestation ainsi que des débats et ateliers sont programmés à Lyon.
