Palestine-Israel: The joint struggle confront the transfer efforts of the Israeli settler colonialist project*

Arkib, Dahamsh (1948 borders), and Bil'in, Ma'asara, Nabi Saleh, Ni'ilin, Qaddum, Sheikh Jarah (East Jerusalem)

Though Israel failed in its last open assault on the Gaza Strip, it still succeed in its transfer efforts. The drowning of a refugee ship with 450 mainly Gaza people reflect the partial success of Israel transfer efforts that for the never ended efforts since 1948. The siege on Gaza join the pressure on both Palestinians within the 1948 borders and that of the 1967. The big masses were driven out during the 1948 and 1967 wars, but efforts continued with all means possible. Some expelled by force some were moved within the border as pressure to "voluntary transfer". Within the 1967 borders, the Israeli efforts are targeted on the villages and Bedouins living in area C where the joint struggle to resist it is mainly focused in the South of Hebron Hills. And the joint struggle in Arkib, Dahamsh (1948 borders), and Bil'in, Ma'asara, Nabi Saleh, Ni'ilin, Qaddum, Sheikh Jarah (East Jerusalem) continue "as usual". [Italiano]

Bil'in

Friday 12-9-14 in. Bil'in: 6 Israeli and dozen internationals converged with the villagers at the Abu Lamun orchard. Before the demonstration started the Israeli state forces flooded the people with tear gas. Many went round the cloud of tear gas waking along the separation wall from a distance. As the wind changed the tear gas failed to drive the people away till military cars brought the soldiers nearer. Though there was no march or demo the commander threatened the people who were on the way to the village with arrests for participation in the "unlawful demo" that never really happened this Friday.
Any way, the Israeli activists paid this week their "rent" for the presence in Palestine.

Bil'in, Friday, 19-9-14 two stages of the demonstration in which 15 Israelis, 20 internationals, and local activists, converged near the separation wall in the Abu Lamun oaks groove and started to walk towards the near by separation wall.
The Israeli state forces did not like the location of the demo so they floated us with tear gas forcing us to go to the north - not far from the gate in the wall.
after a long while they did not like the second location which was out of the range of the tear gas grenades so they came with their armored cars shooting tear gas and bullets coated with rubber and arrested three of us - one from each nationality... The local one succeeded to escape and Israeli and the international activists were taken to a far away police station for "interrogation".

Ni'lin

Friday 19-9-2014 - Even before the demonstration began, soldiers and Border Police forces assembled next to the convergence point. Without warning or provocation on the part of those who came to demonstrate, the occupation forces began to charge. They used massive amounts of tear gas. A group of three soldiers ran into the village and at some point I realized that they marked me.I stopped and did not resist arrest. Only about 4 hours later they bothered to tell me that I was accused of violating the military order that marks the entire area a "closed Military zone". I kept silent, refused to sign any document without consulting a lawyer. I was locked up with another two charming protesters from Bil'in and we were released later that night under the condition that we will not return to the area in the next 15 days. Assuming that the military order was not written after the fact, I allow myself to suppose These six photos that were taken before the arrest were taken before the validity of the order!

Qaddum

At the weekly demo against the occupation in kufr Quaddum,
the village's electricity was cut off last night. 3500 ppl live with no electricity for one day so far, and it remains unclear whether this was a mere accident or sabotage.
Hopefully the power grid will be fixed soon.
Now in the demo the army is firing tons of tear gas and rubber coated steel bullets in us, over 200 unarmed protesters demonstrating in the village.

Don't Say We Didn't Know 419
This is how it works: The Israeli authorities intend to create a new settlement in Nu'eima, north of Jericho, for Bedouins expelled from the E1 Area (between Jerusalem and Ma'ale Adumim settlement). In the meantime Bedouin dwellings are being demolished before alternative ones are even being prepared. On Thursday, August 28, 2014, Israeli soldiers came to the Bedouin neighborhood next to Palestinian village A-Zayyim east of Jerusalem, and demolished five dwellings and three sheep-pens. 38 persons remained homeless. This is the third demolition the army has carried out at the site in the past two years.

Don't Say We Didn’t Know 420

In a press news item, the Israel Land Authority reported having demolished seven Bedouin dwellings in the Negev. Another 18 homes were demolished by their own inhabitants. The locations of the demolitions were not specified. ILA inspectors habitually threaten Bedouins that if they do not demolish their own homes, the "job" will be done by the ILA and inhabitants will be charged with the cost of the demolition and debris removal. Some fear this and do their own demolition.

Last night have shown the result of the accumulation of anger of the youth who are the main victims of the COVID-19 pandemic and crisis. There is a much increase of unemployment which brought the increase of pressure on Palestinians in Jerusalem and the multiethnic cities within Israel, as well as the intensity of police brutality in order to suppress the rallies and other mobilisations.

textPalestine-Israel, History's wheels turn faster and scream as blood does not oil the axes enough* 00:23 Tue 27 Aug by Ilan S. 0 comments

The turmoil in our region expresses the melting of world history as we knew it. It accelerates before it reaches its end as the axes of the old order cannot hold it any more. The Zionist settler colonialist bridgehead of the developed imperial countries in the cradle of human culture at the east of the Mediterranean Sea is being eroded by the resistance of the indigenous inhabitants who are recruiting supporters from all over the world. The cracks in neoliberal global capitalism, which seemed to have reached its ultimate victory just a few years ago when the end of history was declared, are pointing to the real end of the history of egoistic and alienated class society. In the day-to-day struggle here, it is still hard to discern the cracks in the structure of the system, but you can already smell it in the clouds of tear gas at the weekly demos and feel the ground tremor under your feet. textPalestine-Israel, Some activities the Anarchists Against the Wall initiative involved with lately 18:23 Tue 15 Feb by Ilan S. 0 comments

There are four main areas of struggles the AAtW activists are involved with: Joint struggle with communities that invite us to join, like Bil'in and other struggles against the separation fence. Other joint struggles against occupation and settler colonialists like Nabi Salih. Joint struggles with wider coalitions like the Sheikh Jarrah coalition and South Hebron. The fourth is within Israel, like prison and jail solidarity, Al Araqeeb and Lod. It seems that our confrontational and direct-action mode of struggle is being adopted by more and more Israeli radicals.

The Melbourne Anarchist Communist Group’s solution to the oppression of the Palestinians is the same as for oppression everywhere. The problems of capitalism can only be solved by workers’ revolution. In Palestine, that means defeating Zionism and replacing it with the No State Solution, a society of libertarian communism that operates on the basis of consistent federalism.

The announcement of Trump that the US would immediately stop aerial bombardments and withdraw their diplomatic personnel, while their troops would all withdraw within 3 months, officially signalled the end of the Syrian war, a war which has been portrayed as a “civil war” but one in which all of the world participated. While major powers, such as Russia, France, the UK, and the US, and regional powers such as Iran, Israel and Turkey participated directly, they had their Syrian proxies to fight against one another. The conflict, in the first place, wouldn’t have erupted without the decisive funding and support given by Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Turkey and Jordan to a frightful collection of armed jihadist lunatics.

imageThe Rojava Revolution defended the world, now the world will defend the Rojava Revolution! Jan 05 8 comments

Embargo, cutting off water sources and air strikes against civilians have been some of the war crimes committed by the fascist Turkish state throughout this year against the revolution in Rojava.

While facing the internal political and economic crisis, the Erdogan government has to accept the failure of the military operations in the mountains of Kurdistan, appealing to the use of chemical weapons, in the face of the resistance of the Kurdish warriors of the revolution.

The intensification of the attacks last October, the flyers launched from the aeroplanes and the recent troop movements threaten a new invasion of the autonomous territories in the North and East of Syria.

At this delicate moment, we want to reaffirm our solidarity with our revolutionary comrades and all the peoples of Rojava and condemn once more the occupation of Rojava, the multiple aggressions and war crimes of the Turkish neo-fascist state and its jihadist allies, as well as their preparations for war.

imageDefend Kurdistan : statement for the international delegation Jun 18 0 comments

The UCL participated in the European delegation to observe the Turkish war crimes in Iraqi Kurdistan.
This delegation is taking place at a time when Erdogan is received at the NATO summit. His formal meeting with Macron does not hide his objective, which is obviously to legitimize his illegal invasion of Iraq, and to obtain from NATO a blank check to continue his military campaign.
His pretext: to eradicate the PKK, a "terrorist organization" according to the Council of Europe's blacklist.
His strategy: to intimidate European nations, to maintain bombings, military pressure and destruction of crops in Iraqi Kurdistan, to force Mahmoud Barzani's KDP to collaborate openly with him, against its brothers and sisters in Kurdistan.
At the time of publishing this information, the conference of the delegation has been prevented by the KDP, the hotel where it is held is surrounded by the military, and our comrades have been sent back to France after interrogation by the police of the KDP, traitor to the Kurdish cause.

imageWe condemn the Turkish state attack and invasion of the Iraqi Kurdistan Jun 25 0 comments

The support and solidarity with innocent people can be done in different ways. It can be through launching complaints, expressing anger and frustration, protests, and demonstrations. The best kind of support and solidarity is boycotting all the goods that are made in Turkey and by Turkish companies wherever they are. Boycotting its media, universities, language colleges and stopping holiday bookings to Turkey. While Turkey has got so many interests in Iraqi Kurdistan the boycott is very effective. Turkey has hundreds of companies plus colleges, shops, factories there, and it is the main country for Kurdish holiday makers. In short Iraqi Kurdistan is one of the main market for the Turkish capitalists and the others. Boycotting Turkey and the Turkish goods can also put pressure on the Kurdistan Reginal Government, KRG, Iraq and the foreign companies to meet people’s demand.
