The traditional Chinese course: "Have an interesting life" is fulfilled these months in the East of the Mediterranean: The elite in Syria massacre its rebelling people, the Israeli state continue with the cleansing of the Palestinians and have a second neo-liberal front with own people; Turkey just in the north cut the last ropes of the Ottoman empire and Egypt to the south is fermenting more than ever in its long long History. The elites of the European countries of the north who ruled and exploited our region for centuries start to feel and behave in the panic of tiger riders who fear that the ride is nearing its end and the confrontation with the tiger is nearing... And the joint struggle in Arkib, Beit Ummar, Bil'in' Ma'asara, Nabi Saleh, Ni'ilin, Qaddum, Sheikh Jarah, Sheikh Jarah, Silwad, South of Hebron Hills, Susiya, Tel Aviv-Jaffa, continue. [Italiano]

Bil'in

This week there was no gas in Bil'in. Actually there was one canister that the shabab threw at the soldiers, and one canister that the offended soldiers threw back at the shabab, and that's it. There were also stun grenades and skunk water, but not as much as usual. The wind was blowing strong and steady at the force's commander and the settlement, so the soldiers had to let off. On the other hand, there were loads of French women and Frenchmen, a kite, burning tires, flags on the wall, a trumpet, a harmonica, a few dozen eggs, and a well orchestrated stoning display that forced off the wall the two sitting duck soldiers placed there to attract the shabab's rage.

Nabi Saleh

Friday - 26/04/2013 During the weekly demonstration in Nabi Saleh, protesters - Palestinians, Israeli and international - marched in celebration of the deal reached with the political prisoner Samer al-'Issawi, who will be released to his native Jerusalem after a long hunger strike. Protesters marched towards the village's stolen spring and expropriated lands when they were attacked by the IOF with rubber-coated steel bullets and tear gas canisters. Although the soldiers chased the village's youth into the village and although many suffocated on the tear gas, there were no serious injuries or arrests.

Silwad

Friday protest 26.4-2013

Following the recent outrages of a 60-year-old Silwad resident; Ahmad al-Zir, who suffered serious injuries, chiefly to his head, when he was attacked by colonists from the nearby Israeli colony of Ofra with an iron bar two weeks ago; the torching of 10 cars in the neighboring village of Beit Jarir and a vain attempt to encroach further into Silwad land land by siting caravans (which were torched) on the village's property, there have been a series of fierce protests by outraged Deir Jarir and Silwad residents which are being violently suppressed by occupation forces. Today, from what appeared to be an Ofra "security guard" or colonizer there were frequent bursts of indiscriminate live fire blanketing the area at stone throwing youths. Luckily, there were no injuries or fatalities.

On Sunday, 14th April, 2013, at 21:30, IDF soldiers entered a Palestinian home near Tel Rumeida, in Hebron, and arrested a 13 year old boy on the claim that he had thrown stones. They shackled him and covered his eyes with a cloth used to clean guns. First, they took him to a road block in Hebron and locked him up there for 20 minutes. Afterwards they took him to an nearby IDF base where they locked him up for further 15 minutes. After that, they took him to the Palestinian police.
