In 14th May 2012, early in the morning at about 05:00, cops raided the houses of anarchists from Revolutionary Anarchist Action, Collective 26A's cafe in Taksim, and the center of Kadikoy Sharing and Solidarity Association in Kadikoy arresting about 60 people. According to the mainstream media, the operation is said to be against those who smashed the windows of corporations in Mayday protests. Those who are under arrest were taken to Istanbul Police Center in Vatan Street.

Yesterday, in 15th May 2012 Revolutionary Anarchist Action had made press statement about this operation against anarchists live in Turkey. In pres statement there shout slogans “Rebel, Revolution, Anarchy”, “Freedom can not be prisoned”, “Viva Revolutionary Solidarity”. “Anarchism can not be prisoned, Set free the arresteds” has writing in the placard.

They said in their press statement;
There is a new statement terror against anarchists. Raided the houses of anarchists from Revolutionary Anarchist Action, Collective 26A's cafe in Taksim, and the center of Kadikoy Sharing and Solidarity Association in Kadikoy arresting about 60 people by “counter-terrorist police team” with snow masks, heavy weapons. By the way in this operation DAF members beated and arrested by police. And also there is a lot of anarchist inviduals arrested and terrorized by the police in this operation.
