Videos from the mobilisations for the two days (48 hours) general strike in Greece against the new austerity packet.

The packet has been voted in the parliamanet yesterday (29 June) with 155 votes in favor (mainly from PASOK PMs plus one from the New Democracy party).

But 28 and 29 June 2011 undoubtelly will remain to the history of the social struggle not only in Greece but in an international level for both, the really massive popular mobilisation, and the most brutal and murderous (in many cases) attack by the police (in many instances helped by fascist and right wing thugs) against the people.

Of course Greece after this voting of the new austerity packet by PASOK majority in the parliament enters in a new (and wild in my opinion) phase of its history as the road to the banks, multinationals, the biggest ever sellout of everything, is now widely open.

But at the same time, the social movement also enters in a new phase of mass mobiisation, as the situation is extremely dangerous and crucial for the development of the popular power, the power from below, the power that comes from the base unions, the neighbour asemblies, the healthy part of the anarchist movement and al those who still dream a better and more equal society.

Comrades, the future is in front of us...

(Despite that this information and updates are coming from a site with whose editorial collective there are lots of dissagreements)
