The ZACF's second full Congress, which is the decision-making body of the Federation, consisting of all members, will be held in Johannesburg over the weekend of December 16 & 17 16 & 17 December: Zabalaza Anarchist Communist Federation (ZACF), southern Africa, Congress 2005. The ZACF's second full Congress, which is the decision-making body of the Federation, consisting of all members, will be held in Johannesburg over the weekend of December 16 & 17. Participation is by invitation only for security reasons, and is obligatory for all ZACF members from South Africa and Swaziland. In addition, Congress has been opened by the ZACF Office-Bearers (who carry out day-to-day tasks mandated by Congress) to invited anarchist observers from Europe. The ZACF, which traces its origins via individual militant members back to the anarchist underground resistance to apartheid by the Anarchist Resistance Movement and the Durban Anarchist Federation, was brought into being under an "Interim Skeleton Constitution" in 2003. A proper ZACF Constitution was accepted with acclaim by all members at its first full Congress in 2004. In May 2005, the ZACF, as a organisation inspired by the common sense and anarcho-communist ideology of the Makhovist "Platform", was among the founding organisations of anarkismo.net Congress 2005 resolutions of a public nature - which are likely to include statements on the sufferings of our comrades under authoritarian rule in Swaziland and Zimbabwe - will be published on the following websites by whichever comrade is elected International Secretary by Congress: 1) "Zabalaza" (Struggle): www.zabalaza.net 2) "Anarkismo": www.anarkismo.net red & black regards - Michael (International Secretary, ZACF, southern Africa + anarkismo.net editor)
