From beggary to general self-management!

Some thoughts

The people are not indebted to anybody. Our lives and freedom are not mortgaged or sold out. Rebellion breaks out in a moment, our obligation is to transform it into revolution!

Both local and international capital are tightening the noose around our necks, threatening out present and future, whilst the Greek State, officially and in all frankness, has signed the mortgage. The communications wrapper as to the supposed necessity of the recourse and the measures which will follow, as well as the matter of ‘national unity’, is merely cosmetic in order to escape the widespread social and class war which approaches.

In any case, the deficient enactment of workers’ victories has been officially terminated, and the bosses’ impunity has been officially legitimized. Savage austerity for the people, sellouts of the land’s wealth-producing resources, a labor of the middle ages, and a deeply suppressive status quo await us.

Masks have fallen! The new situation created doesn’t smite the working class and impoverished farmers alone - rather it is a broad-fronted attack on the whole of society. Indeed it is perhaps the ‘middle class’ that will be the first to lose its alleged privileges.

It is obvious that the only ones to benefit will be those who created the crisis – in other words, local and international capital to which have been handed over all public goods and services that should belong to us all.

The sellout by the unions and the ‘leadership’ of the workers’ movement who - instead of preparing the workers for the taking over of the country’s means of production and its management by the workers themselves, both intellectual and manual, making manifest the principle of self-management as the only solution for the protection of human dignity – sellout the dream of an entire society to the margins of beggary and compromise.

The economic crisis does not exist because of us, because of us, however, there are tens of occupied factories in Argentina, Germany, Mexico, where they work without proprietors and managers – with the only principle being solidarity, and the only motto being the collective good. Because of us, there are neighborhood committees that bring residents close to one another – without ‘political’ representatives and servile parliamentarians.

The people are not indebted to anybody. Our lives and freedom are not mortgaged or sold out.

Rebellion breaks out in a moment, our obligation is to transform it into revolution!
