Batay Ouvriye (Workers Struggle), Konfederasyon Travayè Sèvis Piblik (the Confederation of Public Service Workers), Tèt Kole Ti Peyizan Ayisyen (Haitian Small Peasants Unity) Antèn Ouvriye (Workers Antenna), SAJ/Veye Yo (Youth Solidarity/On the Watch), MODEP (the Democratic Popular Movement), Chandèl (Torch), along with various neighborhood organizations in Port-au-Prince, university associations and diverse other of association from the city and the countryside are organizing a demonstration on May first 2009.

For this, we’ve put together a COLLECTIVE FOR A DIFFERENT MAYDAY, with the objective of holding a demonstration that will demystify the way the ruling classes and their State generally commemorate this important date of workers’ struggle, but also our general disagreement with this government’s politics which continue to sink the people in a bottomless pit.

DOWN WITH EXPLOITATION!

DOWN WITH THE WORKERS AND POPULAR MASSES DOMINATION-REPRESSION!

FORWARD THE PEOPLES’ CAMP’S STRUGGLE!

CORRECT WAGES SO ALL WORKERS CAN LIVE!

CORRECT WORK CONDITIONS

FOR ALL WORKERS, ALL THE POPULAR MASSES!

The Workers Solidarity Alliance (WSA) sends the fighting and combative Batay Ouvriye our May Day greetings and solidarity.

For a new world without bosses, bureaucrats and states.
