Στις 24 Γενάρη, η ιστορική γενική συνέλευση της ΕΣΗΕΑ στο «Κάραβελ», όπου επιτεύχθηκε απαρτία με 1190 και πλέον παρόντες δημοσιογράφους και εργαζόμενους στον χώρο των ΜΜΕ, έκανε σαφή δύο πράγματα. Το πρώτο ήταν ότι η συντριπτική πλειοψηφία των παρευρισκομένων είχε πεισθεί ότι πλέον δεν πάει άλλο. Κοιτώντας καθένας τη βολή του και τα μικροσυμφέροντά του, το πολύ-πολύ να έχει μια παράταση (εργασιακής) ζωής ίση με ένα σχολικό έτος.
