The protests against the high cost of living, unemployment and corruption have been growing since the end of the year throughout North Africa, spreading through both Tunisia and Algeria in more and more cities and involving more social sectors, to the extent that the situation in both countries has become extremely unstable - much to the concern of the United States and the European Union... nordafrika / gemeinschaftliche kämpfe Tuesday January 11, 2011 - 15:39 byManu García

US President Barack Obama’s military regime (for as commander-in-chief of the world’s largest military machine,

dealing with the darker majority of humanity, having a black man in the Oval Office simply doesn’t matter.

... read full story / add a comment

... read full story / add a comment
... read full story / add a comment

... read full story / add a comment

north africa / history of anarchism Saturday February 04, 2006 - 20:17 byEugene Plawiuk
During his lifetime Ibn Khaldun is seeing the development of the earliest forms of capitalist primitive accumulation during the period of the last crusade the centralization of Arab control over the Middle East and the decline of European Fuedalism. This would not be recognized in Europe for another two hundred years. He developed a Labour Theory of Value predating Adam Smith, Ricardo and Marx. In fact he is a libertarian economic sociologist. ... read full story / add a comment
