Quem melhor explica a função da media social nas mobilizações é justamente um ativista blogeiro egípcio que em 2008 foi preso pelo regime, como muitos outros, em decorrência da sua atuação política: “quebramos com a idéia de se escrever e não fazer nada. Não é somente palavra, é palavra e ação. E é isso que preocupa muito".
