The joint struggle of Palestinian activists with Israeli and international activists was never a consensus affair. The more reactionary objected to the influence of secular partners. Extreme "nationalists" oppose the Israeli activists. The Palestinian authority was never too happy with the independent struggle. Some "militants" were against the non-armed mode of the struggle. Narrow-minded people did not have a clue about the joint struggle's contribution to international pressure on Israel to put end to the occupation or at least to lessen the level of repression. The demo against the renewal of discussions of the PA with Israeli rulers brought the PA objections to the open. ---- In Israel, the social struggle collects momentum while the split between the reformists who wish to join the parliament and those who refrain from that quagmire. Alla fine della conferenza sociale tra padronato, sindacati e governo, appare molto chiaramente che non si prevede nessun intervento per prevenire i licenziamenti ed altrettanto chiaramente emerge una scelta in favore del mondo degli affari. Il ministero delle politiche produttive, anzichè preoccuparsi di salvaguardare i bacini di occupazione, è soprattutto un ministero delle parole e della comunicazione con il compito di far digerire la pillola e di occupare gli spazi mediatici senza avere nulla di alternativo da proporre ai licenziamenti ed alle classiche misure di accompagnamento. read full story / add a comment
Tandis que la crise du capitalisme s'étend, les travailleurs et travailleuses d'Europe (comme en Espagne, Grèce et Italie) continuent à subir les plans d'austérité. La France n'en est pas exempte, même si de nombreuses mesures avaient été suspendues le temps que se déroule le cirque électoral : l'augmentation des prix (en particulier du gaz), le gel des salaires et des minimas sociaux, la destruction des services publics et les licenciements reprennent de plus belle, à peine un mois après la fin des élections. read full story / add a comment
