Όσα διαδραματίζονται αυτές τις μέρες στην Ουκρανία είναι το ξέσπασμα μιας μακράς ιστορικά περιόδου, που περιλαμβάνει πολλές αντιθέσεις και συγκρουόμενες δυνάμεις. Δεν είναι ασήμαντο το γεγονός ότι όλα όσα βλέπουμε αυτές τις μέρες συμβαίνουν σε ένα κράτος του λεγόμενου δυτικού κόσμου. Όσοι δεν έχουν υπόψη τους το νήμα που συνδέει αυτές τις μέρες με το παρελθόν της Ουκρανίας ίσως και να ξαφνιάστηκαν για το πώς θα μπορούσε να ξεσπάσει ένας εμφύλιος πόλεμος, εκεί όπου οι πολιτισμένοι εξουσιαστές λύνουν συνήθως τις διαφωνίες τους στα διπλωματικά τραπέζια. Il movimento anarchico coreano voleva costruire una società anarchica indipendente ed autogovernata, un sistema cooperativo delle masse del popolo coreano. Volevano prendersi il progresso civile portato dalla classe capitalista per restituirlo alle classi popolari. In questo modo, la società capitalista e coloniale che esisteva allora in Corea (come in altri posti dell'Africa, dell'Asia e dell'Europa) sarebbe stata sostituita con una nuova società. Questa nuova società si sarebbe fondata sui principi di libertà ed uguaglianza che garantiscono l'autogoverno indipendente delle classi produttrici: la classe operaia e contadina. I media israeliani sono del tutto ossessionati dalla escalation della campagna Boycott, Disinvest, Sanctions come se sapessero cose che non possono rivelare. Sia i sostenitori che i detrattori della fine dell'occupazione iniziano a ritenerla immanente in un futuro non lontano. Una componente del capitalismo israeliano, colpita dal boicottaggio e timorosa che possa andare sempre peggio ha iniziato a spingere per una accelerazione della fine dell'occupazione. Un centinaio di capitalisti israeliani si sono recati alla conferenza di Davos dove si sono ufficialmente costituti in organizzazione. Sul campo, sembra che le forze di stato israeliane stiano aumentando la repressione sulle lotte in corso così come stanno forzando gli sgomberi di interi villaggi da territori considerati strategici. Two weeks ago, Nosotros los Pobres had the good fortune to host a presentation by two members of the Federacion de Estudiantes Libertarias of Chile, with whom we had a very productive exchange of ideas. Soon after that, I saw a statement published by the FEL, commenting on the situation in Venezuela, in which they expressed sympathy for the “Venezuelan people” in their resistance against a coup d’etat. The Israeli media is nearly obsessed with the escalation of the B.D.S. as if they know things they do not disclose. Both supporters and rejectors of the end of the occupation start to regard it as immanent and not in the far future. A section of the Israeli capitalist elite which is suffering from the boycott and fear its escalation start to organize to accelerate the end of occupation. 100 of them traveled for the Davos conference and official organization was established. On the ground, it seems that the efforts of the Israeli state forces escalate their repression of on going struggles and make more efforts to transfer villagers from strategic locations. Horizontalism is an emerging term used to describe the key common characteristics of the waves of rebellion of the last decade. Occupy in 2011 was the peak to date but the term Horizontalism itself appears to originate the rebellion in Argentina after the 2001 banking crisis there. Marina Sitrin in her book on that rebellion says the term (in Spanish obviously) was used to describe the neighborhood, workplace & unemployed assemblies that emerged to form "social movements seeking self-management, autonomy and direct democracy."

For weeks and weeks, we have been looking at Ukrainian events, trying to make sense of what has been happening in Kyiv and other cities. We had read many texts, comments and interviews and discussed about Maidan, but we had been always arriving only at new questions to be answered. Thus, when a possibility occurred to get in touch with Ukrainian comrades one of us tried to use it as best as he could. As a result of that effort and thanks to kindness and patience of Denis from a Kyiv branch of a revolutionary syndicalist group called Autonomous Workers Union the following interview came into existence. The Korean anarchist movement wanted to build an independent self-governing anarchist society, a cooperative system of the masses of the Korean people. They wanted to take civilisation from the capitalist class, and return it to the popular classes. By doing so, the capitalist and colonial society that existed in Korea (as elsewhere in Africa and Asia and east Europe) would be replaced with a new society. This new society would be based on the principles of freedom and equality, that guarantee the independent self-rule of the producing classes: the working class and the peasantry. [Italiano]
