Las trabajadoras y los trabajadores de la empresa Leonardo Cartes y Compañía Limitada actualmente se encuentran movilizados. Después de un mes y medio aproximadamente de negociaciones infructuosas decidieron, el día 30 de enero, votar la realización de la huelga legal. Το Ξενοδοχείο BAUEN αποτελεί μια από τις πιο εμβληματικές επιχειρήσεις που έχουν ανακτηθεί από τους εργαζομένους στην Αργεντινή. Οι ιδιοκτήτες του, στο πλαίσιο απάτης που άφησε τους εργαζόμενούς/-ές του στο δρόμο στα τέλη του 2001, έκλεισαν το εικοσαώροφο κτίριο που βρίσκεται στο κέντρο του Μπουένος Άιρες, αφαίρεσαν τα περιουσιακά στοιχεία και το εγκατέλειψαν για περισσότερο από έναν χρόνο, μέχρις ότου μια ομάδα πρώην εργαζομένων κατέλαβε το χώρο στις 21 Μαρτίου 2003. Έτσι ξεκίνησε μια διαδικασία 13 ετών εργατικής αυτοδιαχείρισης που δημιούργησε 130 θέσεις εργασίας κατά την οποία οι εργαζόμενοι του Ξενοδοχείου BAUEN έκαναν μεγάλες επενδύσεις όσον αφορά την επισκευή και την ανακαίνιση της υποδομής του ξενοδοχείου, με ελάχιστη εξωτερική χρηματοδότηση. leggi tutto / aggiungi un commento

La începutul grevei, angajatorul (prin personalul de la departamentul de resurse umane şi superiorii ierarhici ai angajaţilor/telor ce protestau) le-a cerut greviştilor să părăsească incinta unităţii. A short timeline of the events A few days before the winter holidays, 21 out of the 23 workers working on the Brown production line started a wildcat strike by which they were demanding to receive the bonusses that were promised to all the factory workers. At the beginning of the strike, the employer (by way of the human resources department personnel and the higher staff of the workers) asked the striking workers to leave the facility of the factory. El miércoles 28 de diciembre, el compañero César Augusto Roa Carvajal, iba en su moto por Mosquera, Cundinamarca, cuando a las 10:30pm perdió el control del vehículo y se estrelló contra un poste. Para los medios, era sencillamente uno más de los muertos en esa vía, el cuarto en la semana. Στις 11 Δεκεμβρίου τα μαγαζιά θα λειτουργήσουν όπως είναι προκαθορισμένο εντός του θεσπισμένου προγράμματος που προβλέπει οκτώ Κυριακές μέσα στο χρόνο με ανοιχτή την αγορά. Είναι σαφές η συνέχιση του ανοίγματος των μαγαζιών ,όχι μόνο τις Κυριακές αλλά και σε άλλες περιστάσεις όπως οι Λευκές Νύχτες, αποτελεί συγκεκριμένη πολιτική επιλογή. "The claim that "syndicalist unions broke off from mainstream federations to form 'purely revolutionary' unions, cutting themselves off from the mass of workers" doesn't hold up, though it does conform to the Leninist orthodoxy of "Left-Wing" Communism: An Infantile Disorder. There were many countries where the syndicalist unions were the majority--such as Portugal, Spain, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru and Brazil. Syndicalist unions in South Africa, such as the Industrial Workers of Africa (modeled on the Industrial Workers of the World), were the only unions that organized native African workers, who were excluded from the white craft unions. At the time of the mass occupation of the factories in Italy in September 1920, the USI (Italian Syndicalist Union) was claiming 800,000 members, and the factory councils formed throughout Italy in those events were mostly organized by the USI. Moreover, it was the anarcho-syndicalists who initiated a militia movement ("arditti del popolo") to fight Mussolini's fascist squads. Επιπλέον, οι κοοπερατίβες δε θα πρέπει να στοχεύουν στο κράτος να ενσωματώσει τους εργαζόμενους στη διοίκηση. Οι ουσιαστικές κατακτήσεις των εργατών θα είναι το αποτέλεσμα του αγώνα που δίνουν στους χώρους εργασίας, μέσα από μορφές άμεσης δράσης που έρχονται σε ευθεία αντιπαράθεση με το κεφάλαιο. In May of 2023 several Black Rose / Rosa Negra (BRRN) militants organizing in the healthcare sector attended the Health Autonomy Convergence (HAC) in Durham, North Carolina. This is their collective reflection on and analysis of the event and of the prospects for radical labor organizing in healthcare more generally.
The union movement must be rebuilt and as soon as possible. It will only be harder the more the movement declines. Rebuilding can only be done through a rank and file insurgency. There may be times and places where it is appropriate to organise new unions (for example in entirely unorganised parts of the workforce, or where the existing union is wholly on the side of the bosses and cannot be recaptured by its members). Most workers, though, will not break with the officials until they are already mobilised and a practical decision is in front of them, so the insurgency must operate largely within existing unions.
The working class of Australia has no interest in a war against Chinese workers and Chinese workers have no interest in a war with us. Militarization and war is a ruling class game. We have far more in common with each other than either of us do with the ruling classes of our countries. And just as so many Chinese workers (under much harsher conditions than our own) have had the bravery to fight the bosses and politicians who exploit and oppress them, rather than embrace a nationalist fight against ‘foreign forces’, we should also recognise that our main enemy is here at home. They manage our workplaces and make our laws. The only war worth fighting is the class war against them.
