L’ideologia di destra usa strumentalmente la diversità della classe lavoratrice per individuare gruppi da odiare: gli immigrati, la comunità LGTBI, gli zingari o persino il femminismo o l’ambientalismo.

I terremoti del 6 febbraio e le loro scosse di assestamento hanno devastato intere regioni. Il bilancio delle vittime è di decine di migliaia e continua a salire. L'accesso all'acqua, all'elettricità, al gas, al cibo e ad altri beni di prima necessità è ridotto o inesistente per milioni di persone.
Le nostre compagne e i nostri compagni delle organizzazioni anarchiche, dei sindacati di base e delle organizzazioni popolari stanno lavorando insieme e sono direttamente coinvolti nei soccorsi.

What is especifismo? Is it anarchism? What is an especifist organization? What does it do? Is it a political party? These questions, which may seem basic to some, are not uncommon. Using the Anarchist Federation of Rio de Janeiro’s (FARJ) Social Anarchism and Organisation, we can arrive at a more concrete understanding of the ideology, theory, strategy, and final objectives of especifismo. This is not a definitive study of especifismo. It is a close analysis of a single text. If this theory is to have an influence on the revolutionary strategies of social anarchists around the world, we must continue to expand our research on the subject. Today, this usually requires working in multiple languages or with translations. For this reason, anglophone anarchists quickly arrive at the end of the available literature on the subject. La pandemia determinata dal virus Covid-19 sembra, almeno sul continente europeo, in via di attenuazione benché continuino ad apparire sempre nuovi focolai di infezione e sul futuro penda l’incertezza di una possibile e paventata nuova ondata nel periodo autunnale; al momento la diffusione del virus colpisce, sia per contagiati che per vittime, soprattutto il continente americano con la massima espansione proprio in quei paesi come gli Usa ed il Brasile dove i rispettivi presidenti ne avevano minimizzato la pericolosità in maniera superficiale ed irresponsabile. It is within times of crisis when the thin veil of neoliberalism slips to reveal the emperor is not wearing any clothes. It exposes the sheer inefficacy of capitalism to cope with human crises and cater for the most basic human needs. In these times, when the capitalist state is left reeling, we see glimpses of community, solidarity and interdependence emerge once again - the very ideals neoliberalism has for the last 40 odd years attempted to erode and eradicate. The politics in the Philippine archipelago is dominated by hierarchical and alienating politics as represented by reformism and National Democracy. Against these the paper forwards the liberatory politics of anarchism. The paper introduces anarchist concepts such as egalitarian organizing, mutual aid, and direct action for people unfamiliar with these concepts. After situating anarchism in the anti-authoritarian struggles in the archipelago, the paper also argues for a shift in the anarchist politics of the archipelago from an autonomist anarchism towards a revolutionary politics as a social movement. This booklet, called Capitalism, Anti-capitalism and Popular Organisation, is a publication of the Popular University of Rio de Janeiro in conjunction with the Movement of Unemployed Workers of Rio de Janeiro (MTD-RJ).
In this co-edition, we thought that a first and important step would be material that explained, in a simple way, the functioning of the capitalist system and offered a critical and current perspective in relation to it. At the same time, this material should offer more than just criticism. It should present constructive elements that could show ways and possibilities of how to fight capitalism and, also, give some perspectives of struggle in the medium and long term.

Ya han pasado las elecciones. Recién el jueves 28 se ha confirmado ha ganado la fórmula Luis Lacalle Pou-Beatriz Argimón, marcando un retorno de la derecha clásica a la administración del Estado. Mucho se ha hablado de estas elecciones. Desde la “izquierda” la importancia que revestía, de lo que estaba en juego, de los riesgos de que ganara la derecha, de que Cabildo Abierto se convirtiera en una fuerza determinante en la coalición «multicolor» con gran capacidad de presión, se ha hablado del miedo al fascismo. Todo ello fue colocado como argumento para votar a Martínez, entre tantas otras cosas. Para evitar confusiones -o incrementar las que ya hay-, separemos la paja del trigo. Today, the world looks at Colombia, its streets and roads being the stage where people have shown dignified rage in a powerful cry which cannot go unnoticed. Social protests happening uninterruptedly since April 28 are the response to the exacerbation of poverty and the precariousness of life, immediate consequences of neoliberalism. Amid a sanitary, economic, and social crisis, the latter has manifested itself in 1.7 million Colombian families feeding themselves only two meals a day or less, a 14.2% unemployment rate, and nearly half of the population (42.2%) living in poverty. (...) la destrucción de lo que nos oprime no vendrá de una de las instituciones que sostiene el sistema de dominación, ningún tipo de Estado ni de proyectos que pacten con él podrán aterrizar cambios significativos en la autonomía de nuestras cuerpas, derechos sociales para las de abajo o construcción de espacios seguros. El caso de Argentina es ejemplificador de aquello, de qué sirve tener un Ministerio de las Mujeres, Géneros y Diversidad o decretar el uso del lenguaje inclusivo en todos los documentos de las instituciones estatales si basta con un cambio de gobierno para desmotar estas medidas con los mismos instrumentos con los que se “ganaron”. Como lo mencionamos en nuestra matriz de análisis, el Estado es una institución central para el actual sistema de dominación, de ahí que las medidas de corto plazo que surgen desde él siempre tenderán a reforzar su legitimidad. Mientras no sean los movimientos sociales, en el marco de la lucha de clases, los que logren conquistas sociales y políticas, prefiguren la sociedad libre y den la batalla ideológica que se contraponga al modelo actual, ningún cambio será duradero ni podrá movilizar y articular a las de abajo por su defensa. En síntesis, no será garantía ni certeza de nada.
En el plano internacional, el genocidio sobre el pueblo de palestina continúa; el Estado de Israel con el apoyo de EEUU, la Unión Europea y el mundo occidental en general, llevan meses realizando una política sistemática de aniquilación de la población de Gaza. Por nuestra parte no nos extraviamos en laberintos epistémicos y nos solidarizamos con la resistencia palestina en Gaza y Cisjordania. Sin embargo, no hay que mirar solamente al sionismo y su política de muerte, en Wallmapu se vive una guerra sucia sin la extensión y crudeza de Gaza, pero con el mismo objetivo: la erradicación de quienes se oponen a los opresores. En el territorio ancestral mapuche, el gobierno progresista ha sostenido una militarización sin precedentes, buscando desarticular el movimiento autónomo mapuche por medio del terrorismo de Estado. A día de hoy existen más de 60 presxs políticxs mapuche, las comunidades son acosadas constantemente e incluso desalojadas de sus tierras por la “Ley Anti Toma”, a su vez, comunerxs encarceladxs mantienen una larga huelga de hambre, que ya se ha extendido por más de 70 días exigiendo la nulidad del juicio racista que les ha condenado a extensas penas.

En vísperas de la conmemoración del 1 de mayo, día internacional de las trabajadoras, y en medio de la celebración de la memoria y el futuro de las luchas obreras y populares, queremos compartir algunas líneas de nuestro análisis como Grupo Libertario Vía Libre. En este escrito repasamos algunas características de la clase trabajadora local y el movimiento obrero en el país, así como de las tendencias recientes del sindicalismo y de las luchas obreras en el Estado, para finalizar con algunos elementos de nuestra propuesta socialista libertaria.
