Israele aumenta gli sforzi per stroncare la lotta unitaria a Nabi Salih e a Walaja. Sebbene siano gli attivisti israeliani quelli più coinvolti nell'insorgenza per la giustizia sociale, i palestinesi israeliani non sono a guardare e nemmeno gli anarchici impegnati nelle tendopoli e presenti come spezzone nella manifestazione di sabato partecipata da centinaia di migliaia di persone. Continua la lotta a Gerusalemme Est occupata specialmente a Sheikh Jarrah, così come continua a sud nella zone delle colline di Hebron, ad ovest di Ramallah (a Bil'in, Ni'lin e Nabi Salih), all'interno di Israele nel villaggio beduino di Al-Araqeeb. The Israeli efforts to curb the joint struggle intensify in Nabi Saleh and Wallage. Though the Israeli activists are involved in the social justice uprising, the Israeli Palestinians are not absent from it and the anarchists were not absent from their local tent camps and their block in the Saturday hundred thousands march in Tel Aviv. The on-going struggles in occupied east Jerusalem focused on Sheik Jarah; in the south - at the south of Hebron mountains; in west of Ramallah - at Bil'in, Ni'ilin, and Nebi Saleh; within Israel - at the Bedouin village of Al-Arakib. Sembra proprio che le rivolte dei popoli arabi abbiano iniettato un'energia ribelle a tutto il mondo. Lo si avverte nei villaggi in lotta contro il muro della separazione, contro il furto della terra da parte dei coloni, contro l'occupazione. Ma l'incendio ha preso anche Israele con uno sciopero ben riuscito dei consumatori contro l'aumento del formaggio "fiocchi di latte". Ma pure con la resistenza dei dottori internisti degli ospedali contro un accordo di compromesso dopo uno sciopero parziale di cento e più giorni con azioni dirette e manifestazioni che hanno obbligato le associazioni di categoria a rigettare l'accordo. Ed infine con la diffusa rivolta contro il caro-casa. In nove giorni si è passati da una dozzina di tende nel centro di Tel Aviv ad oltre 2.000 tende nella capitale ed in altri centri del paese, da poche timide azioni dirette a manifestazioni di 200.000 persone. (negli ultimi 2 giorni, nonostante un compromesso proposto dal governo, sia le lotte per la casa che quelle degli ospedalieri si sono diffuse ulteriormente e sono cresciute). It seems the regional uprising of the people in the Arab countries injected rebellion energy all over the world. It is felt in the villages struggling against the separation fence, robbery of lands by colonialist settlers and the occupation. It has ignited within Israel a successful consumer strike after a steep rise in price of cottage cheese. It made the hospital internist doctors resist a compromise in agreement after a hundred-day plus partial strike and starting some direct actions and demos... forcing already the retreat of the medical doctors association from the compromise. It also started a widespread rebellion focused mainly on housing but with a wider spectrum from the beginning. In nine days from a start of a dozen tents in centra Tel Aviv to the 2,000-tent camp there and many other loca ones throughout the country, and from a few hesitant direct actions to a huge 200,000-march. (In the last two days, in spite of proposed state compromises, both the housing struggle and that of the intern doctors' have expanded and intensified.) Soffia il vento della primavera araba sulla lotta unitaria di palestinesi ed israeliani. Aumentano le persone che pur non facendo parte del movimento anarchico si uniscono agli anarchici contro il muro ed alle lotte unitarie che questi sostengono. Aumentano gli abitanti dei villaggi palestinesi che pur essendo rimasti ai margini nelle lotte degli ultimi anni contro il muro e contro l'occupazione ora partecipano frequentemente alla lotta. Un'altra settimana tempestosa di lotta unitaria sotto gli occhi dei media mondiali mentre la flotilla di mare viene continuamente sabotata da Israele e stati complici. La Flotilla volante si è unita a quella di mare questa settimana. Le solite località di lotta dentro i confini di Israele: Araqeeb, Gerusalemme, Lod-Ramla, aereporto Ben Gurion, Tel-Aviv, e nella Palestina occupata: Beit Ummar, Bil'in, Gerusalemme Est (Sheikh Jarrah, Silwan) Ma'sara, Ni'lin, Nabi Salih, Colline Sud di Hebron, e le località di lotte più sporadiche di Kfar Karyut, Kafr Qaddum, At-Tuwani, and al-Walaja. The joint struggle get second wind inspired by the Arab Spring both by the Palestinians and the Israelis. More and more people who were not in the anarchist scene join the anarchists against the wall initiative and other initiatives of joint struggle. More and more villages who were marginal the last few years in the struggle against the separation fence and occupation participating now frequently in the struggle. Within Israel, the Egyptian Tahrir motto crystallized in ferment in the Israeli young people who are not willing any more to pay the increasing price of the settler colonialist project. The regular locations of joint struggle within Israel: Al-Arakib, and Lod-Ramla; and Palestinian Beit Umar, Bilin, East Jerusalem, Ma'asara, Nabi Saleh, N'ilin, and South Hebron Mountain, were joined by this week by Budrus and Wallage. The first BDS call in Israel was initiated by Matzpen during the first year of the first intifada, in February 1988. It called for a boycott of the products of the colonialist settlements (see http://www.matzpen.org/index.asp?p=kria, in Hebrew). It played a marginal role in the political arena till the Peace Bloc (Gush Shalom) started to promote it (Do not confuse the radical, though sill marginally Zionist, "Gush Shalom" and the firmly left-Zionist "Peace Now", or Shalom Achshav). This prepared the background for the more radical call of international Jewry for "Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions", initiated by anti-authoritarians and anti-capitalists (and the anti-Zionist organization, Matzpen) and friends in 2001. It took years for the Palestinians to adopt it in 2005, but then slowly drew more and more support from all over the world, including Israel which gave birth to the movement of "boycott from within". Another stormy week of joint struggle was in the focus of the world media as the sailing flotilla was continuously sabotaged by Israel and other bribed states. The Flying Flotilla joined the sailing one this week. The usual locations of struggle within Israel: of Araqeeb, Jerusalem , Lod-Ramla, Ben Gurion airfield, Tel-Aviv, and occupied Palestine: Beit Ummar, Bil'in, East Jerusalem (Sheikh Jarrah, Silwan) Ma'sara, Ni'lin, Nabi Salih, South of Hebron hills, and the sporadic location of Kfar Karyut, Kafr Qaddum, At-Tuwani, and al-Walaja. Questa settimana, abbiamo potuto sperimentare la strana sensazione che si prova quando un sogno si realizza. Una lotta durata 6 anni e 4 mesi ha costretto lo Stato di Israele a restituire quasi metà delle terre sottratte al villaggio di Bil'in per destinarle alla costruzione dell'insediamento coloniale di Modi'in Illit. La rimozione del vecchio muro della separazione nel corso della scorsa settimana ha attirato molti media internazionali ed israeliani. Per questa vittoria a Bil'in va evidenziato il contributo della lotta unitaria di palestinesi ed israeliani, lo stesso che si esprime nella promozione di lotte simili nella Cisgiordania occupata e che ha fatto di Bil'in un simbolo di fama mondiale. Le celebrazioni, le danze ed i sorrisi non possono occultare la memoria dei 2 compagni uccisi nel corso delle manifestazioni del venerdì e le centinaia di feriti (abitanti di Bil'in, internazionali ed israeliani di Anarchici Contro il Muro) senza dimenticare quelli salvati per un pelo ed i tanti che hanno perso la loro libertà e si trovano da un anno e mezzo nei campi di concentramento per i palestinesi. In questi anni, la lotta unitaria contro il muro della separazione e contro l'occupazione ha portato a qualche successo, costringendo lo Stato israeliano a fare un po' di marcia indietro rispetto alle iniziali intenzioni di usare il muro per annettersi le terre palestinesi da destinare poi agli insediamenti coloniali. Peraltro, le lotte persistenti a Bil'in e nella vicina Ni'lin sono state in primo piano sui media [insieme alla intensa partecipazione di chi vi scrive in questi ultimi 6 anni.] Così, con grandissima soddisfazione abbiamo assistito all'inizio della rimozione del muro della separazione a Bil'in, ai reportage dei media sull'evento e la stessa cosa è prevista per Ni'lin. L'inarrestabile lotta unitaria continua nell'eroica Nabi Salih, nella persistente Ma'sara, a Beit Ummar, sulle montagne sud della regione di Hebron, a Gerusalemme Est, ed all'interno della stessa Israele. This week, we have experienced the strange effect of a dream come true. A struggle of six years and 4 months forced the Israeli state to give back nearly half of the land robbed from the village Bil'in for the building of the settler town Modi'in Ilit. The removal of the old separation fence during the week draw lot of international and Israeli media. It stressed the contribution of the joint struggle of Palestinians and Israelis in Bil'in to this victory, to the promotion of similar struggles in the occupied west bank and to turning Bil'in into a world wide symbol. The celebrations, the dancing and the cheers could not mask the memory of the two comrades murdered in the Friday demonstrations, the hundreds injured (both Bil'inners, internationals and Israelis of the anarchists against the wall initiative) including few barely saved, the many who lost their freedom (up to a year and a half in concentration camp for Palestinians). During the years, the joint struggle against the separation fence and occupation has brought some successes, forcing the Israeli state to retreat a bit from initial steps of using the separation fence to annex Palestinian lands for colonialist settlements. However, the persistent struggles in Bil'in and in the nearby Ni'lin were in the focus of the media [and the intensive participation of this writer over the last six years.] Thus, with huge satisfaction we have seen the beginning of the move of the separation fence in Bil'in and the media report on it and the coming move of the fence in Ni'lin. The relentless joint struggle continues in the heroic Nabi Salih, in the persistent Ma'sara, in Beit Ummar, in the Southern Hebron mountain region, in East Jerusalem, and within Israel. Report del 14.06.11: Settimana dopo settimana... a volte giorno dopo giorno, la lotta prosegue. Sono quasi dimenticati gli anni senza lotte unitarie e senza solidarietà vivente, senza speranza di vedere giorni migliori. Le ferite e gli arresti non hanno fermato il popolo. I gas inalanti per tutti funzionano meglio di un "calumet della pace". Questa settimana, oltre ai soliti posti, siamo stati anche alle manifestazioni a Kfar Malik, Biddu, at-Tuwani, e Shuqba. It seems a routine that will continue for years to come, but the approaching September is in the mind of all involved. The naZionist settler colonialist project is continuing as if nothing changed but it is not so. The struggle continue every week end and in the week days too. In addition to Bil'in, Ni'ilin, Nabi Saleh, Ma'asara, Beit Ummar, Southern Hebron hills, the Jordan valley, East Jerusalem (Silwan, Sheikh Jarrah) and within 1948 borders: Arakib, Lod-Ramla, Jaffa, a new struggle front opened in Dir Quadis (located between Bil'in and Ni'ilin). Il sentimento dell'immanente avvicinarsi del disastro delle spoglie della guerra del 1967 inizia a colorare la lotta unitaria con uno speciale aroma primaverile. Sembra che persino le punture dei gas lacrimogeni ed il male inflitto dai proiettili di gomma, dai manganelli e dalle granate di gas siano meno dolorosi. Persino il putrido odore dell'acqua fetida ("Il puzzo di Israele") sembra non appestarci più come in passato. I media e persino i politici di stato menzionano sempre di più le nostre lotte almeno come parziale causa dei loro problemi. L'inconsistenza dei loro atti repressivi esprime la loro disperazione negli sforzi intrapresi per mettere fine alla lotta unitaria in una zona sensibile per i media internazionali. The feeling of the nearing immanent disaster of the 1967 war spoils start to color the joint struggle with a special Spring aroma. It seems that even the sting of the tear gas and the pains from rubber coated bullet, batons and tear gas missiles are a bit milder. Even the putrid smell of the skunkish water ("The Smell of Israel") is not stinking so much as in the past. The media and even the state politicians mention our struggles more and more as responsible at least in part to their problems. The inconsistency in their repression steps, express their helplessness in their efforts to put end to the joint struggle restricted by the arena being open to international media.
