Στις αρχές Μαΐου 1937, κατά τη διάρκεια της ισπανικής επανάστασης, Η Βαρκελώνη γίνεται μάρτυρας μιας από τις μεγαλύτερες και πιο δολοφονικές ενέργειες των κομμουνιστών (η ιστορία των οποίων είναι γεμάτη από τέτοιες). Αναρχικοί και μέλη του P.O.U.M. (Εργατικό Κόμμα Μαρξιστικής Ενοποίησης-τροτσκιστές) αμύνονται κατά των κομμουνιστών, οι οποίοι επιτίθενται στο Τηλεφωνικό κέντρο, το οποίο έχουν καταλάβει οι αναρχικοί. Η περίφημη «Τραγική Εβδομάδα» τελειώνει με 500 νεκρούς αγωνιστές, δολοφονημένους από τα σταλινικά καθάρματα. Neste texto, publicado originalmente na revista Enfrentamento e tendo sofrido algumas modificações, o autor João Gabriel discute os congressos que marcaram o movimento operário do Brasil na Primeira República, afirmando que a estratégia desse movimento, a partir de suas deliberações congressuais, foi o sindicalismo revolucionário. The son of a Wesleyan minister, Thibedi William Thibedi was one of the most important black African revolutionary syndicalists in South African history. Thibedi was a leading figure in the International Socialist League (ISL) and in the Industrial Workers of Africa syndicalist union. Later he played an important role in the early Communist Party of South Africa (CPSA), particularly its union work. Este breve texto visa analisar, principalmente, a concepção de Estado para Élisée Reclus. Seu pensamento não é fragmentado e determinista; ele analisa o Estado através da compreensão da sociedade enquanto uma totalidade, ou seja, liga o Estado ao capitalismo e todas suas instituições. O militante anarquista foi espectro de estudos de diversas áreas do conhecimento, sobretudo da Geografia. Sendo assim, é considerado como um dos principais teóricos do anarquismo ao lado de Mikhail Bakunin, Pierre Joseph-Proudhon, Louise Michel, Piotr Kropotkin, Errico Malatesta, Cafiero, entre outros. O anarquista francês foi militante na AIT de 1864 e na Comuna de Paris de 1871 e influenciou além dos movimentos operários, o ambiente escolar-acadêmico através de sua metodologia, a educação para o ensino de geografia, além de dar um enfoque finalista: a destruição do capitalismo e do Estado.
