Εκείνη η μέρα ήταν από τις τελευταίες στο μαγαζί. Μάζεψα από την αποθήκη τα προσωπικά μου είδη και κατευθύνθηκα στην πόρτα της εξόδου. Μαζί μου πήραν τον ίδιο δρόμο όσοι είχαν προηγουμένως την ίδια περιέργεια να μάθουν τι κρύβεται πίσω από τη βιτρίνα της Μη Κυβερνητικής Οργάνωσης και κάτω από την ταμπέλα του «ανθρωπισμού». Σταθήκαμε μια στιγμή στο δρόμο και κοιταχτήκαμε. Καμιά απογοήτευση. Έμεινε μόνο η στυφότητα στο στόμα εκείνου που βουτάει το δάχτυλο να δοκιμάσει λίγη απ’την αλήθεια. read full story / add a comment

El repunte autoritario es para toda España, que no quede duda de que un gobierno liberticida y corrupto como el de Rajoy no está solo en esto y que cuenta con el firme apoyo del PSOE y de los grandes medios de comunicación y de las instituciones clave del estado: Tribunal Constitucional, Supremo, Audiencia Nacional, Fiscalía, cuerpos policiales y ejército. Y por supuesto la Monarquía. Ante esto sólo se alza Catalunya, quizás Euskadi, y unas cuantas decenas de miles de personas valientes que han salido a la calle en todas las ciudades para solidarizarse con su proceso de autodeterminación y protestar por la represión. Es necesario pasar de actitudes defensivas (la protesta contra la represión) a una actitud de ofensiva. No se entiende qué están haciendo las organizaciones de las Marchas de la Dignidad o de los llamados frentes sociales que no están convocando a tomar la calle. Pero no para protestar por la represión si no para exigir la República y el fin del antiguo régimen (el de 1978, con su inequívoco origen en 1939). read full story / add a comment

Στην Ισπανία, όπως και στην Ελλάδα, ο σκοπός του επαναστατικού κινήματος είναι να ανασυνταχθεί μετά από τα απανωτά χτυπήματα της καταστολής και την κοινωνική κατήφεια της λιτότητας και της αποτυχίας των κινημάτων των πλατειών και να δουλέψει σταθερά και μεθοδικά με γνώμονα τα ελευθεριακά προτάγματα. Η ανάθεση της ζωής μας στα χέρια κομμάτων, πολιτικών και πεφωτισμένων πρωτοποριών δε θα μπορέσει ποτέ να φέρει το επιθυμητό αποτέλεσμα. Η επιδίωξη της πολιτικής αστάθειας μπορεί να καρποφορήσει μόνο αν υπάρχει οργάνωση και δομές από τα κάτω για να την εκμεταλλευτούν και να δώσουν προοπτικές αγώνα, προοπτικές κοινωνικής και ταξικής χειραφέτησης. On 14th October 2017, Rally for Choice will march through the streets of Belfast. - Last year saw us counter protest the Rally for Life in the North of Ireland, for the first time we marched against their lies instead of our usual static demo. Our counter protest was a huge success, despite being organised at short notice and with only a handful of activists. The protest burst across our streets and convened at Buoy Park afterwards for speakers. We outnumbered the Rally for Life 2016 significantly. read full story / add a comment

Saturday the 30th of September 2017 will go down as a high point in the fight for abortion rights in the Republic of Ireland, and that is a struggle that stretches back decades. Years of campaigning and maintaining a focus on the issue, saw a massive crowd of nearly 30,000 people take to the streets for the annual March for Choice as organised by the Abortion Rights Campaign [ARC].
