Η μάχη δεν έχει κερδιθεί αλλά το φασιστικό πτώμα σέρνεται και είναι χρέος του καθενός από μας να το πατήσει. Δεν υπάρχει κανένας λόγος να αφήσουμε μία παρέα, όπως η Τ.Ο Χρυσής Αυγής Πειραιά, που προσπαθεί να διαχειριστεί τη σαπισμένη φήμη της, να αναπαραχθεί στον κοινωνικό ιστό. In 1713-14, it took the troops of Spain’s Borbon monarchy 14 months of siege before taking Barcelona and ending Catalan self-rule. In September 2017, Catalonia is again under siege, this time from the central Spanish People’s Party (PP) government. Under prime minister Mariano Rajoy the Spanish state is concentrating all its firepower on stopping the Catalan government’s October 1 independence referendum. On that day, if this siege is successfully resisted, Catalan citizens will vote on whether “Catalonia should become an independent state in the form of a republic.” read full story / add a comment

Για να τελειώνουμε. Τις διαφορές μας με τον Σταλινισμό, τον Λενινισμό και τα μη αναρχικα ρεύματα που αναφέρονται στην επανάσταση θα τις λύσουμε εκεί που πρέπει, μέσα στους κοινωνικούς αγώνες. Με την διαπάλη, όσο σκληρή κι αν χρειαστεί να γίνει, στους κόλπους της κοινωνικής βάσης. Η ιστορία μας δίδαξε πολλά, γνωρίζουμε τα λάθη και την αφέλεια των πολιτικών μας προγόνων. In Catalonia an important process of independence is taking place against Spain. At the request of the Popular Party (PP), the Spanish Constitutional Court declared the Catalan Statute of 2010, unconstitutional. This statute was negotiated between the Government of José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero and later endorsed by the Spanish Parliament. Since then, the number of Catalans who want to become independent from Spain has not stopped growing. read full story / add a comment

A sharp increase in fuel prices on Wednesday 6 September will hit the working class and poor hardest. The official reasons for the price hike are rising crude oil costs and the weak Rand. Government tax is also rising. Energy Minister Mamoloko Kubayi claims 4.6 cents a litre will go towards salary increases for petrol station workers. The reality is rising prices get passed directly onto ordinary people by, for example, increases in taxi fares and food prices. read full story / add a comment

Aunque parezca increíble, por seis años, un grupo de obreros vallunos, específicamente de la ciudad de Buga, la ciudad señora del Milagroso, mantienen una huelga en las afueras de la empresa de vidrio Cristar SAS (filial de la multinacional norteamericana Owens Illinois Inc., que controla el 85% de la empresa). Ahí están en unas carpas, rodeados de carteles que atestiguan la solidaridad que han recibido de varios sindicatos del departamento. Se han mantenido firmes en esta huelga 35 obreros de los 60 que la iniciaron: las deserciones ocurrieron sólo en los primeros meses, una muestra de la voluntad de estos trabajadores [1]. Desde entonces este grupo de 35 obreros se ha mantenido inquebrantable reclamando sus derechos. La conciencia de clase y el sentido solidario de estos obreros es admirable. read full story / add a comment |
