Στις 25 Νοεμβρίου ταξιδεύω στην Αθήνα με πρόθεση να βοηθήσω έναν νέο Κούρδο (τον “Α”) που έχει χάσει ένα μέρος της οικογένειάς του και χρειάζεται να φτάσει στη Γερμανία, όπου ζει ένας θείος του. Γνωρίζοντας ότι το ταξίδι από την Ελλάδα στη Γερμανία έχει παραπάνω δυσκολίες, αποφασίζω να του διευκολύνω τη διαδικασία για να ταξιδέψει στη Βαρκελώνη, όπου υπάρχουν άνθρωποι που μπορούν να τον βοηθήσουν να φτάσει στον προορισμό του. read full story / add a comment

The General Defense Committee of the Industrial Workers World (IWW) has become an important pole of struggle for pro-working-class revolutionaries in the Twin Cities. While active on a number of different fronts it is the participation of the General Defense Committee (GDC) in the year-long struggle against police killings and brutality in the Twin Cities that has largely led to the significant growth of the organization. The GDC has grown to approximately 90 dues-paying members in Minnesota, and has several active working-groups. In the wake of Trump’s election victory, Wobblies (1) and others across the country have begun establishing their own GDC locals – strongly influenced by the Twin Cities’ model. read full story / add a comment

Την Παρασκευή 23 Δεκεμβρίου, η Αναρχική Ομοσπονδία καλούσε σε δράσεις σε τρεις πόλεις (Αθήνα, Θεσσαλονίκη, Λαμία) σε ένδειξη αλληλεγγύης στους αγώνες των κρατουμένων του Κολαστηρίου. Στηρίζουμε τα αιτήματα των κρατουμένων για ένταξη του Άγιου Παύλου στο ΕΣΥ (δηλαδή η μετεξέλιξη του σε -έστω και στοιχειωδώς- νοσοκομείο) και την κανονικοποίηση της αποφυλάκισης λόγω υγείας, που τώρα βρίσκεται εξ ολοκλήρου στην αυθαίρετη διάθεση της «δικαιοσύνης» με αποτέλεσμα να πεθαίνει, με σχεδόν σταθερό ρυθμό, ένας άνθρωπος τον μήνα. read full story / add a comment

There is no doubt that over the last couple of decades our movement has declined dramatically . Not only it is not achievable anymore, in fact it cannot maintain what had already achieved before. It is also very clear that Marx's theory is not the remedy for the current situation any longer. I believe it is extremely hard to expect that the revolution to take place in the advanced industrialised countries, at least not in the very near future. This article puts forward the argument of possibility that the revolution could happen in the less or non-industrialised countries, before the advanced industrialised countries. An investigation was started by Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's office about our newspaper related to articles "Both Arrival and Departure of State is From Fear", "Banned Until Further Order", and "Recreating Life" in the 30. issue of our newspaper published on December 2015 with the caption "Banning Everything". Σε χρόνο ενεστώτα, και όσο βαθαίνει η κρίση, η διαδικασία αυτή θα επιταχύνεται, δημιουργώντας μια στρατιά αποκλεισμένων και στερούμενων ως και τα στοιχειώδη, ενός κομματιού των από-τα-κάτω που επιβιώνει στα όρια της νομιμότητας, αναπαραγόμενος μέσω της επαιτείας ή της «παραβατικής» δραστηριότητας. Η υπαγωγή αυτού του κομματιού στον κύκλο της μαύρης οικονομίας είναι παράλληλα και η απαρχή της συσσώρευσης πολλών εξ αυτών στη συνθήκη του εγκλεισμού. Μια ματιά στην ιδιαίτερη ταξική διαστρωμάτωση της μαύρης οικονομίας φανερώνει πως, πέραν του συμπληρωματικού της χαρακτήρα ως προς την επίσημη, δεν διαφέρει σε τίποτα δομικά από την τελευταία: αναλώσιμοι-ευκαιριακοί εργάτες του εγκλήματος, μισθωτοί εργάτες των αφεντικών της μαύρης οικονομίας (πρεζέμπορων, νονών της νύχτας κλπ) στη βάση της πυραμίδας, βαρόνοι του εγκλήματος στην κορυφή της. read full story / add a comment
