The new FIAT agreement came into effect on 1 January 2012 in all FIAT plants. It cancels the national collective bargaining agreement and all other existing agreements. It was accompanied by a specific contract for the car sector and the cancellation of the 2008 national collective agreement for the metalworkers section, which now goes down in history as being the last voted for by the workers themselves. Este trabalho desenvolve a análise da relação entre a suposta crise da Zona do Euro e a cobertura midiática que a precede e acompanha. Verifica que o jornalismo econômico participa dos interesses não apenas das empresas de mídia, mas também dos agentes econômicos mundiais que participam dessa e de outras construções premeditadas. Dessa forma, argumenta-se que a ausência da ética iluminista e republicana do jornalismo é a balizadora ao revés dessas ações, já que a profissão de trabalhar com a informação é facilitadora das relações assimétricas, prejudicando assim os direitos da cidadania e da democracia mesmo em sua forma burguesa e representativa. A cobertura especializada torna-se, portanto, um porta-voz oficioso de ações premeditadas, delinquindo dentro das regras do sistema e transferindo renda dos Estados para os operadores financeiros em uma escala planetária. Este trabalho desenvolve a análise da relação entre a suposta crise da Zona do Euro e a cobertura midiática que a precede e acompanha. Verifica que o jornalismo econômico participa dos interesses não apenas das empresas de mídia, mas também dos agentes econômicos mundiais que participam dessa e de outras construções premeditadas. Dessa forma, argumenta-se que a ausência da ética iluminista e republicana do jornalismo é a balizadora ao revés dessas ações, já que a profissão de trabalhar com a informação é facilitadora das relações assimétricas, prejudicando assim os direitos da cidadania e da democracia mesmo em sua forma burguesa e representativa. A cobertura especializada torna-se, portanto, um porta-voz oficioso de ações premeditadas, delinquindo dentro das regras do sistema e transferindo renda dos Estados para os operadores financeiros em uma escala planetária.
