작년 12월3일, 서울 지방법원은 혁명적 사회주의 단체인 '한국 사회주의 노동자 연합(사노련)' 소속 오세철 교수와 다른 회원들(양효석, 양준석, 최영익, 박준선, 정원형, 오민규)에 대해 5-7년형을 선고했습니다. 한국에서 노동계급운동을 해 온 이들 활동가들은 한국의 악명 높은 국가보안법(1948년 통과된 법안으로 이론적으로는 여전히 "북한에 찬성하는" 활동가에게 사형을 명기하고 있는) 으로 기소되었습니다. 사노련의 선진 활동가 8인은 남북한의 노동계급 혁명을 지지해온 국제주의자들로 사회주의자인 것을 제외하고는 어떤 구체적인 사유로도 기소된 바 없었지만, 사실상 이번 기소는 2007년으로 거슬러 올라가 이들이 몇몇 파업과 투쟁에 관여했던 것에서 기인합니다. 이는 몇 년만에 처음 일어난 국가 보안법을 구실로 한 read full story / add a comment

On Dec. 3 of last year, the prosecutor in the Seoul Central District Court demanded prison terms of 5-7 years for Oh sei-chull and other members (Yang Hyo-seok, Yang Joon-seok, Choi Young-ik, Park Joon-seon, Jeong Won-hyung, and Oh Min-gyu) of the Socialist Workers’ Alliance of Korea (SWLK), a revolutionary socialist group. These activists in the Korean working-class movement were indicted under South Korea’s notorious National Security Law (passed in 1948 and theoretically still stipulating the death penalty for “pro-North” activities). read full story / add a comment

El 3 de diciembre de 2010 la fiscalía del Distrito Central de Seúl, Corea del Sur, decretó sentencias de 5 a 7 años a Oh sei-chull, Yang Hyo-sik, Yang Joon-seok, Choi Young-ik, Park Joon-seon, Jeong Won-hyun, Oh Min-gyu y Nam-goong Won, miembros del grupo socialista revolucionario Alianza Obrera Socialista de Corea, conocida por sus siglas SWLK (en inglés).
