Las estudiantes, profesoras y trabajadoras que conformamos esa gran trinchera de lucha llamada Universidad Pedagógica Nacional hemos visto como día a día se desploma ese gran sueño de ver una Educadora de educadoras con condiciones dignas para ejercer nuestras actividades cotidianas. Ya no podemos pensar en voz alta contra el sistema porque los celadores, lacayos del estado paramilitar, están mirándonos mal y tomando nota de lo que acabamos de decir (algo parecido sucedía en la Alemania Nazi durante principios de la década del cuarenta cuando la Gestapo perseguía y hacía seguimiento a las pensadoras, activistas y militantes comunistas que criticaban al régimen), ya no podemos estar tranquilas en el aula de clase pues debemos estar pendientes de que no se nos caiga el techo encima (hay que recordar que este semestre la administración solo invirtió 10 millones en la infraestructura del edificio de la 72 mientras paga 1500 millones por arrendamientos ubicados fuera de la universidad); ya no podemos fortalecer nuestros conocimientos de manera integral pues nos han cancelado algunas salidas de campo (este año solo se dieron 290 millones para este recurso mientras se dieron 2500 millones para seguridad privada[1]); ya no podemos fortalecer eficazmente la relación educanda-educadora pues la universidad solo cuenta con un 20% de profesoras de planta por lo que el 80% restante tiene que trabajar por horas y en otras instituciones educativas; ya no podemos caminar libremente por el campus pues la administración ha venido aumentado los cupos indiscriminadamente produciendo un hacinamiento absoluto que se evidencia en el restaurante, los pasillos y los salones; ya no podemos imaginar una academia decente que realice investigaciones y publique textos sobre pedagogía (este semestre la administración solo invirtió 302 millones en publicaciones e impresos además de financiar solo 9 proyectos de investigación); y ya no podemos esperar nada de la imaginaria construcción de la sede de Valmaria donde actualmente viene funcionando, en precarias condiciones, la facultad de Educación Física. read full story / add a comment

Μπορείτε; Μπορούν; Μπορούμε; Αν όχι, ας συνεχιστούν μέσα από τις οθόνες οι φιλολογικές τηλε-συζητήσεις και οι σικέ εικονομαχίες από πολιτικάντηδες, συνδικαλισταράδες, κομματάρχες, κλαίουσες μανάδες και κάθε άσχετο. Fabián Araneda, vicepresidente de la FECH, es un dirigente universitario muy especial, a quien sus compañeros de la coordinadora Luchar suelen llamarlo “el primer trabajador”. Él vive en Pedro Aguirre Cerda, es fanático de Colo Colo y de la serie Spartacus, de hecho en twitter se hace llamar @elperrotracio por su evidente parecido con este personaje histórico, que al igual que el gladiador que organizó un ejercito de esclavos rebeldes en contra Roma, siendo considerando posteriormente como el primer revolucionario de origen popular, Fabián es de los pocos, o quizás el único dirigente estudiantil del último tiempo, que trabaja por necesidad y no por un anhelo de autonomía.

También es importante mencionar que es un compañero de origen popular y de ahí su cercana relación con el contexto social, el cual viene principalmente ligado a su experiencia personal. Por eso, sabe cómo piensa la mayoría de los jóvenes endeudados y esforzados, porque él también es uno de ellos. Además, esta cercanía y origen modesto se ve reflejado en lo sindical, debido a que como mencionábamos anteriormente, el compañero es trabajador, lo que le permite establecer un vínculo directo con el mundo sindical. The development of modern society and what has happened to the working-class movement over the last 100 years (and in particular since 1917) have compelled us to make a radical revision of the ideas on which that movement has been based.
Forty years have elapsed since the proletarian revolution seized power in Russia. From that revolution it is not socialism that ultimately emerged but a new and monstrous form of exploiting society and totalitarian oppression that differed from the worst forms of capitalism only in that the bureaucracy replaced the private owners of capital and “the plan” took the place of the “free market.” Ten years ago, only a few people like us defended these ideas. Since then, the Hungarian workers have brought them to the world’s attention.
Among the raw materials for such a revision are the vast experience of the Russian Revolution and of its degeneration, the Hungarian workers’ councils, their actions, and their program. But these are far from being the only elements useful for making such a revision. A look at modern capitalism and at the type of conflict it breeds shows that throughout the world working people are faced with the same fundamental problems, often posed in surprisingly similar terms. These problems call everywhere for the same response. This answer is socialism, a social system that is the very opposite of the bureaucratic capitalism now installed in Russia, China, and elsewhere.
The experience of bureaucratic capitalism allows us clearly to perceive what socialism is not and cannot be. A close look both at past proletarian uprisings and at the everyday life and struggles of the proletariat enables us to say what socialism could and should be. Basing ourselves on a century of experience we can and must now define the positive content of socialism in a much fuller and more accurate way than was possible for previous revolutionaries. In today’s vast ideological morass, people who call themselves socialists may be heard to say that they “are no longer quite sure what the word means.” We hope to show that the very opposite is the case. Today, for the first time, one can begin to spell out in concrete and specific terms what socialism really could be like. read full story / add a comment

Με την εγκαθίδρυση του καπιταλισμού, όπου γεννήθηκε η ανάγκη για εμπορευματοποίηση της γνώσης, παρατηρούμε την συνεχή αναπροσαρμογή του στις ανάγκες του ίδιου του Κεφαλαίου.Το άνοιγμα του πανεπιστημίου στις ευρύτερες λαϊκές μάζες παρουσιάστηκε στην Ελλάδα, αργοπορημένα σε σχέση με την υπόλοιπη Ευρώπη, στην εποχή της αφθονίας και της κοινωνικής ανέλιξης, στα μέσα της δεκαετίας του ‘60, τότε που το “αμέρικαν ντρίμ” έγινε και επίσημα εγχώριο προϊόν.Από νομοσχέδιο σε νομοσχέδιο και από κυβέρνηση σε κυβέρνηση (Αρσένης,Γιαννάκου κλπ) φτάνουμε στο σήμερα στο νόμο Διαμαντοπούλου και στο σχέδιο ‘’Αθηνά’’. read full story / add a comment

La situación HOY es de espera. Nuevamente los estudiantes nos estamos organizando, porque nos negamos a dejarnos pisotear. Nosotros sabemos cuáles son nuestros derechos y cómo hacerlos valer. En este momento, estamos presentando nuestro reclamo ante la Asesoría Tutelar de la Justicia porteña, para que obliguen al ministerio de educación a darnos lo que nos corresponde por derecho: las mesas de examen. Vamos a agotar todas las herramientas que nos da el sistema, es decir la vía legal o institucional. Pero el macrismo sabe perfectamente que ésta no es nuestra única herramienta de lucha, o al menos debería saberlo después de las tomas masivas de 2012. read full story / add a comment
