The Quebec collectives of NEFAC are re-organizing themselves. Basically, the Quebec and American sections of the Federation have decided to form two solid but independent organizations. On 22 and 23 November, we will be holding a congress at the Métropole where the manifesto and constitution of a new Quebec-specific anarchist communist organization will be adopted. We will be taking the opportunity to begin a dialogue with comrades who are close to us and see whether it is possible to integrate more militants in this process which will affect all parts of Quebec. Depuis quelques années, des militants et militantes communistes libertaires de Sherbrooke parlent de redonner vie à un collectif anarchiste suite à la lente disparition de L’Accolade (nom de l’union sherbrookoise fédérée à la NEFAC active jusqu’en 2005). La création du collectif du 19 juillet (au prin-temps dernier) a donc matérialisé le désir d’avoir un pôle communiste libertaire réellement actif à Sherbrooke. read full story / add a comment

Es urgente la recomposición y rearticulación de la militancia política en luchas sociales, el trabajo político sin estar inserto en las luchas de nuestra clase carece de proyección y limita su posibilidad de antagonismo. La superación de la sociedad de clases, la abolición del Estado y la propiedad, la destrucción del capitalismo y del patriarcado comienza en el fortalecimiento de la organización popular, surge de la acción directa y anida en las comunidades organizadas. Το κείμενο που ακολουθεί καταθέτει σκέψεις, προβληματισμούς και αναγκαιότητες για την επιτακτική, οργανωτική ανασυγκρότηση του αναρχικού κινήματος στον ελλαδικό χώρο. Οι προτάσεις και τα σημεία κριτικής κατατίθενται στα πλαίσια ενός ευρύτερου πολιτικού, κινηματικού διαλόγου. Οι θέσεις που διατυπώνονται δε γράφονται με τον σκοπό της αλαζονικής υπόδειξης, που θα άρμοζε ίσως σε κάποιον ινστρούχτορα, παρά τον δηκτικό τόνο σε αρκετά σημεία (ο σκοπός είναι η παρακίνηση σε ενεργή συμμετοχή και οργάνωση για το ξεπέρασμα των υπαρχόντων πολιτικών και οργανωτικών σκοπέλων). Οι θέσεις αυτές αποτελούν διαπιστώσεις του γράφοντος, σημεία κριτικής (άρα και αυτοκριτικής) και σχηματικές προτάσεις που αφορούν την οργανωτική ανασυγκρότηση του αναρχικού κινήματος στην Ελλάδα.
There is a difference between strategic divergence and ideological opposition. Nevertheless, even in tendencies that have relatively high ideological affinity, this misunderstanding can be found and has consistently led to splits in both anarchism and in popular movements. Some tendencies do not aim to organize on the political level, and in our current context, it makes sense to elaborate on the particular organizational and strategic problems with this kind of anarchist politics because, for us, part of our role as a small engine within a growing Popular Power is to keep generating and dissipating liberatory theory and practices.
