The second week of June will mark forty years since the occupation of the West Bank and Gaza in the 1967 Six Day war. This is now the longest enduring military occupation in the world. We can use this symbolic moment to hit out at those who benefit and profit from the pain and despair in Palestine, and to send the Israeli and G8 governments a message they cannot ignore.
This is a call-out for international direct actions against the occupation on June 6-12. We call in particular for actions against corporations profiting directly from the occupation that publicly shame them and/or cause them economic damage. The Darfur War has been described as the worst conflict in the world today - and yet despite intensive media coverage, many aspects of the conflict are misunderstood because of the propaganda battle that runs in tandem with the war on the ground. The view from the ground offers different perspectives.
The USA alleges genocide against the Fur, Masaalit and Zaghawa tribes by Khartoum-backed Janjaweed militia – an interest spurred no doubt by Washington’s desire for access to Sudan’s oil reserves which are currently being exploited exclusively by China and to a lesser extent, Malaysia and India. On the other hand, Nafi Ali Nafi, deputy leader of the ruling National Congress Party admitted that Khartoum armed and trained a “popular defence force” from among civilians to be used to support the Sudanese Defence Force in its battle against rebels in Darfur, while denying any genocidal campaign.

La Strategia di Fondo della FdCA è composta di Tesi che definiscono per la lunga durata il ruolo strategico degli storici nemici di classe, il ruolo strategico dell'organizzazione di massa del proletariato, il ruolo strategico dell'organizzazione politica, i compiti di entrambe le organizzazioni nel periodo di transizione al comunismo.Nell'anno del suo 20° anniversario (2006), la FdCA ha aggiornato alcune di queste tesi, tra cui quella sull'Imperialismo USA, che era stata adottata dal primo congresso della federazione nel 1985. In pursuit of its "long war" on terrorism and alleged terrorism, the US military is expanding into Africa's "arc of instability" - and striking secret pacts with regional powers like South Africa.
Those programmes include the “Next Generation of African Military Leaders” officers’ course run by the shadowy African Centre for Strategic Studies, based in Washington, which has “chapters” in various African countries including South Africa. The Centre appears to be a sort of “School of the Africas” similar to the infamous “School of the Americas” [ Nederlands] [ Ellenika] [Italiano]
