Till now, even the more realists of the Zionist left who are for the retreat to the 1967 borders (with some amendments) insisted that retreat will be conditioned on final peace agreement in which the Palestinians agree that no return of refugees will occur. To day, the ex-chief commander of army and previous head of a big party of the parliament suggested to agree to temporary peace giving back 60% of the 1967 occupation committed to give during the following 4 years the equivalent of the rest with final peace agreement. As Palestinians who are not in areas targeted for transfer efforts have much better life, the motivation for popular struggle do not expand and even shrink - and so is the Israeli side of the joint struggle - in spite of the fact we see already the light in the end of the tunnel (or because of it). Just a pure essence of the Israeli settler colonialist rational: State responds to two High Court petitions to stop planned evacuation of eight villages in south Hebron hills (of the occupied west bank). "Israel: Eviction of 1,300 Palestinians necessary to save IDF time, money" see From the Israeli daily http://www.haaretz.com/news/diplomacy-defense/.premium-...39057 The Bedouin struggle refute the claim that within the 1948 borders Israel is a normal state. The joint struggle of the anarchists against the wall with the Palestinian popular grass root comities against the separation fence and colonialist settlers encroachment on their spaces is a constant call out for international action of solidarity - not for "the national liberation of the self determination of statehood" of the Palestinian elite, but for the end of occupation and transfer of the Palestinian People. The struggle of the Bedouins within Israel against the mass transfer since the 1948 war expand to the whole of Israel and even to the areas conquered in the 1967. In addition to the regular locations of joint struggle in the 1967 areas: Bil'in, Ni'ilin, Ma'asarah, Nabi Saleh, Qaddum, Sheikh Jarah, and South of Hebron hills the Bedouins struggle drew more and more activists of the anarchists against the wall. The frantic efforts of the Israeli authorities to advance the transfer of Palestinians both within the 1948 borders and the 1967 ones is interwoven withe realization that the tide is changing. The rhetorics of the rightists and their harsh activities seems to be a kind of religious ritual intending to counter the contradicting reality. The joint struggle continue both with farmers of the south of the west bank to resist the settler colonialists harassments and the popular comities contesting the separation fence and occupation. Bedouins in Israel south, farmers in the west bank, Bil'in, Nabi Saleh, Ni'ilin, Qaddum, Sheikh Jarah. Another activist with the anarchists against the wall had a metal bullet coated with rubber extracted from her foot after shot from illegally short range while video documenting. Though many comrades have lost their enthusiasm along the years and some dropped out entirely or emigrated, the struggle continues - both in the struggle for social justice and the joint struggle against the occupation and the transfer pressures within Israel. The mounting world pressure, energized by the local struggles, seems to be increasing qualitatively as are the fear of them by the Israeli elite. The most interesting news in this weekend's articles and editorial of the daily newspaper Haaretz: "...Contrary to Bennett's statements, sources in Jerusalem say the threat of European boycotts on Israel is real". Excerpt: "... a large number of those investment committees [of the banking system] considered recommending to the banks to prohibit loans or aid of any kind to Israeli companies that operate in the West Bank − manufacturing there, selling their products, building homes and so forth − and also to Israeli banks that grant mortgages to home builders or buyers across the Green Line. While the popular non-armed struggle of the Palestinians of the occupied West Bank is provoked again and again in the C areas, the PSCC are still sporadic. The persistent joint struggles are still restricted to Bil'in, Ma'sara, Nabi Saleh, Ni'lin, Qaddum, and Sheikh Jarrah, but from time to time the Israeli Anarchists Against the Wall activists are invited to old locations of joint struggles and to new ones. The state repression is inconsistent, with often unpredicted relative passivity of state forces interwoven with harsh eruptions. Meanwhile in Israel the social struggle is starting to collect momentum with hotter discussions about the international pressure on one side and the one-state solution/danger on the other. The roots of the joint action that the Israeli Anarchists Against the Wall are involved in is in the same process that started in the first post-Marxist anti-neoliberalist globalization uprising in Chiapas 01-01-94. The Peoples' Global Action and the confrontations with the WTO and later also with the G8 originated in the 1997 Second pro-Zapatist Encounter in Spain (a workshop I participated in). In the European Peoples' Global Action 2002 at Leiden we had a workshop on the struggle in Palestine (with a significant Israeli presence) which raised the idea of a joint camp (materialized in the Mas'ha camp in 2003) which initiated the joint struggle against the separation fence and the Anarchists Against the Wall part of it. We do not know for sure which confrontational struggle contributes to any other struggle, and to the world struggle, but we are all connected, inspiring and inspired by each other. ... read full story / add a comment

textPalestine-Israel - a struggle that never ends between Zionist settler colonialism and the indigenous... 15:25 Sun 20 Jul by Ilan S. 0 comments

The war on the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip continues for the 13th day. Demonstrations against Israeli warmongering continue both in Israel and throughout the world. All that Israel wants in this war that it has initiated is to thwart a Palestinian unity government and curb the peace agreements it might speed up. The danger of Hamas' surrender to the Palestinian Authority in the heels of its economic crisis has resulted from the actions of the new Egyptian government, which seriously threatens the project of splitting the Palestinians, something that Israel has invested extraordinary efforts in. Only the total collapse of Hamas rule in Gaza scares Israel more than that. However, due to internal problems among the Israel political elite and public opinion, the government refrained from revealing the true nature of the war, which is to stabilize independent Hamas rule in Gaza and prevent the need for Hamas to surrender to the Palestinian Authority of the West Bank. So, instead the Israeli government has exaggerated the reports about attacks against Hamas and is hiding the real agenda - the obstruction of Palestinian unity. [Italiano]

When the European pressure on Israel to compromise with the Palestinian elite collected momentum - already diminishing exports, Israel tried to take advanced of the kidnapped three settlers youth applying "plans from the drawer" trying to ignite armed Intifada. Nearly three weeks of propaganda based on lies (as if they are searching for the already known to them to be dead three youth) was all over the media. When lastly the bodies were "found", lies were exposed, and the harassments failed to ignite Intifada. The mounted hate crimes of the Israeli extreme right and murder of a Palestinian youth of the annexed East Jerusalem ignited an extreme response there and within the Palestinian regions within the 1948 borders. Vicious harassment of US-Palestinian youth - cousin of the murdered youth which was video typed became together with the video of the kidnapped cousin became viral all over the world and ignited solidarity demos all over the world. The Iraq crisis has been continued for decades while it has been under the power of Saddam Hussein or under the “current democratic Regime” since the invasion of 2003. There were no freedom, no social justice; no equality and also little opportunity for those who were independent from the political parties who were in power. In addition to existing brutality and discrimination against women and the ordinary people a very big gap was created between the rich and poor, making the poor even poorer and the rich richer. textPalestine-Israel: The never ending struggle to block the advance of the Zionist settler colonialist ... 20:21 Mon 23 Jun by Ilan S. 0 comments

The last dozen days the Israeli PR machine harp on the lot of the kidnapped three young settlers to justify its efforts to prolong the intense pressure on the Palestinians to "willful" transfer. They pretend to use the kidnapped youth to Cripple Hamas - They really use both in a desperate effort to ignite the third intifada. Bringing 700 soldiers to the less than 2000 inhabited small village Na'ama (bordering Bil'in) to arrest two Hamas activists is just a ridiculous story no one will believe. As the efforts to ignite the third Intifada failed, and the obstruction of the compromise between Hamas and Fatah failed too (one of the most important pillars of the Israel divide and rule), the immanent pressure of world imperial power on Israel to end the occupation of 1967 war is nearing faster than ever. The joint struggle of the Israeli radicals together with Palestinian partners keep the subject in the center of world media. [Italiano]

textPalestine-Israel, The (joint) struggle and the changes in the international arena start a new power ... 09:57 Wed 11 Jun by Ilan S. 0 comments

The Palestinian non-armed struggle is interwoven with the change in the region and world power dynamics to which popular opinion in the Western countries has contributed its share. The first significant successes of B.D.S. (to which the joint struggle contributes) and the fear of parts of the Israeli capitalist elite from a nearing landslide are threatening the status quo. Though efforts to transfer Palestinians within Israel and the occupied 1967 regions continue, the results of mounting international pressure is resulting in cracks within the Israeli capitalist ruling elite. The pressure for a two-state compromise was expressed in the call of nearly half of the parliament coalition of the government to chart the map of the two-state compromise. Even from the extreme right-wing faction a call was issued for an end to pressure on the Palestinians to "voluntarily transfer" and to formally annex the occupied areas of the West Bank into one Zionist hegemonic state with citizen rights to the Palestinians. [Italiano]

Many objections were raised about the participation of Israelis in the non-armed struggle in the areas of Palestine occupied in the 1967 war. Some, mostly Palestinians, regarded it as a contribution to so called "normalization". Others claimed that Israeli activists should do their struggle within the Israeli population of the 1948 borders. Many anarchists raised reservations as the Palestinian popular struggle is a kind of capitalist "national independence struggle" for the self-determination of the Palestinian capitalist elite to monopolize the option for the exploitation of the Palestinian working masses - they just ignore the fact that most Palestinians wish for a bi-national democratic whole Palestine and not for a national Palestinian State. Others just do not take upon themselves the obligation to serve as a life-saving shield, as Israeli policy officially forbids the state forces to shoot to kill when Israelis are supposed to be among the demonstrators. Indigenous people struggle against settler colonialist transfer and marginalization is NOT the same as a national Bourgeoisie for "national independence" or "national self-determination". [Italiano]

Week after week, on weekend and in the week-days to anarchists and other activists insist of leaning our Shoulders on the wheels of history that revolve too slow and push them as much as we can. There is not much of energy in the masses and many activists lost the urge to participate, but still many of us persist and join the meager efforts of the Palestinians who resist the advancing transfer efforts of the Israeli Zionist project and its state forces. The international solidarity activists who join us bring with them the echoes of world wide expanding support and the message that our struggle contribute a lot to it. The frustrated Israeli state forces continue their murderous efforts to extinguish the popular struggle adding live ammunition from time to time like the last week at the demo in Bitunia (near the Ofer concentration camp) but retreat under mounting international pressure. There is no budget emergency. This budget is a gross assault on the conditions of the working classes, smuggled in under contrived hysteria about debt. Meanwhile, Australia’s debt to GDP rate is the third lowest in the OECD. The 2014 budget is simply concerned with enhancing the profitability of corporate Australia and the power of the state on the backs of working people. The poorest people in our society will be the most affected – this means people of colour, Aboriginal people, women, young people and people with disabilities.

No matter what gains we make in struggle, sooner or later employers and governments will try to roll them back. And no matter how much ground we give, employers and governments will only come back for more. The class war goes on, because whether we fight or we don’t, capital never stops fighting. The struggle will continue until we organise as a class, take the means of production into our own hands, and overthrow the entire capitalist system. Only workers’ revolution can end the class war and bring peace to the human race.
