We might all have our own campaigns. Some may see disability rights as most important; some housing; others refugees. All are equally important. We don’t want a hierarchy of needs. Fight for your particular cause yes – but link up with others. An injury to one is an injury to all. The state always tries to divide us. Too often we fight amongst ourselves and miss the real enemy. We need to stick together because once Covid-19 is over the state will come for us like they have never done before. And we need to be ready and supporting each other. ... read full story / add a comment

international / workplace struggles / press release Friday May 01, 2020 - 18:55 by Melbourne Anarchist Communist Group   image 1 image
The struggle against the coronavirus pandemic is one that can only be won by an act of unprecedented human solidarity. Through that act the values of a new world can be born. But turning those values into reality requires the working class. Only the working class: global, multi- racial, multicultural and gender diverse, has the potential strength to uproot the power of capital at its source and steer a new course. We can start by defending health and safety for all workers and by fighting for adequate resources for the health care system. We can extend the struggle by defending civil liberties and opposing austerity. And we can culminate it with a revolution to overthrow capitalism and create libertarian communism, worldwide. ... read full story / add a comment

indonesia / philippines / australia / imperialism / war / press release Saturday April 25, 2020 - 15:39 by Melbourne Anarchist Communist Group   image 1 image
The US-dominated world order can only be maintained by endless war. Australia, a junior partner, has signed up to this to maintain its domination of the South Pacific and Timor L’Este. The situation would not be improved by allying with China or any other would-be hegemon, because that wouldn’t change the system. The working class needs to unite internationally and abolish capitalism. Only this can build the basis for a world of liberty, equality and solidarity, where war is no more and the nation state has been abolished. We can have a new world of libertarian communism ... read full story / add a comment

greece / turkey / cyprus / imperialism / war / press release Friday October 11, 2019 - 05:08 by Devrimci Anarşist Faaliyet
The Turkish State decided to re-enter a territory that it already partly occupies, with the excuse of “protecting its own territorial integrity” . The heads of the state were not ashamed to talk about peace, nor they were ashamed to name the war that they lead for their own interests, as peace. In the war operation called “Peace Spring” warplanes, especially non-discriminating air strikes were put into operation immediately. All of this has started to take place before the eyes of the states and public opinion allegedly “condemning” the Turkish State.

This inter-collective statement is a completely public political position. We will continue to follow the same bright, but at the same time uphill and rugged path that we have drawn in this city, to the end. Whatever the end is…What we guarantee is that Volos will not become Amarynthos (In 2006 in the small city of Amarynthos a few students gang-raped an immigrant student and the local society made her and her mother get out of the town by supporting the rapists). ... read full story / add a comment

Mandla Khoza (“MK”), 1974-2019: ZACF anarchist-communist, militant in South Africa and Swaziland (Eswatini)
southern africa / anarchist movement / news report Thursday August 22, 2019 - 07:30 by ZACF   text 1 comment (last - thursday july 13, 2023 - 20:04)   image 2 images
Comrade Mandla Khoza (or "MK," as his friends and comrades knew him) passed away on Friday 26 July in his home town of Siphofaneni, Swaziland (Eswatini). He had long suffered from sugar diabetes. He leaves behind four children. One of the pioneering members of the Zabalaza Anarchist Communist Federation (ZACF) founded in South Africa on May Day 2003, MK was committed to a social revolution that would place power and wealth in the hands of the working class, the peasants and the poor. As he would often say: “It doesn’t matter if you change who sits on the throne: you have to get rid of the throne itself.” This obituary commemorates his life as a militant.
