Just a pure essence of the Israeli settler colonialist rational: State responds to two High Court petitions to stop planned evacuation of eight villages in south Hebron hills (of the occupied west bank). "Israel: Eviction of 1,300 Palestinians necessary to save IDF time, money" see From the Israeli daily http://www.haaretz.com/news/diplomacy-defense/.premium-...39057 The Bedouin struggle refute the claim that within the 1948 borders Israel is a normal state. The joint struggle of the anarchists against the wall with the Palestinian popular grass root comities against the separation fence and colonialist settlers encroachment on their spaces is a constant call out for international action of solidarity - not for "the national liberation of the self determination of statehood" of the Palestinian elite, but for the end of occupation and transfer of the Palestinian People. The struggle of the Bedouins within Israel against the mass transfer since the 1948 war expand to the whole of Israel and even to the areas conquered in the 1967. In addition to the regular locations of joint struggle in the 1967 areas: Bil'in, Ni'ilin, Ma'asarah, Nabi Saleh, Qaddum, Sheikh Jarah, and South of Hebron hills the Bedouins struggle drew more and more activists of the anarchists against the wall. The Arakib village struggle expand immensely with the Praver plan as the focus. Preparations for the August one actions are in vigor. The frantic efforts of the Israeli authorities to advance the transfer of Palestinians both within the 1948 borders and the 1967 ones is interwoven withe realization that the tide is changing. The rhetorics of the rightists and their harsh activities seems to be a kind of religious ritual intending to counter the contradicting reality. The joint struggle continue both with farmers of the south of the west bank to resist the settler colonialists harassments and the popular comities contesting the separation fence and occupation. Bedouins in Israel south, farmers in the west bank, Bil'in, Nabi Saleh, Ni'ilin, Qaddum, Sheikh Jarah. Another activist with the anarchists against the wall had a metal bullet coated with rubber extracted from her foot after shot from illegally short range while video documenting. Though many comrades have lost their enthusiasm along the years and some dropped out entirely or emigrated, the struggle continues - both in the struggle for social justice and the joint struggle against the occupation and the transfer pressures within Israel. The mounting world pressure, energized by the local struggles, seems to be increasing qualitatively as are the fear of them by the Israeli elite. The most interesting news in this weekend's articles and editorial of the daily newspaper Haaretz: "...Contrary to Bennett's statements, sources in Jerusalem say the threat of European boycotts on Israel is real". Excerpt: "... a large number of those investment committees [of the banking system] considered recommending to the banks to prohibit loans or aid of any kind to Israeli companies that operate in the West Bank − manufacturing there, selling their products, building homes and so forth − and also to Israeli banks that grant mortgages to home builders or buyers across the Green Line. While the popular non-armed struggle of the Palestinians of the occupied West Bank is provoked again and again in the C areas, the PSCC are still sporadic. The persistent joint struggles are still restricted to Bil'in, Ma'sara, Nabi Saleh, Ni'lin, Qaddum, and Sheikh Jarrah, but from time to time the Israeli Anarchists Against the Wall activists are invited to old locations of joint struggles and to new ones. The state repression is inconsistent, with often unpredicted relative passivity of state forces interwoven with harsh eruptions. Meanwhile in Israel the social struggle is starting to collect momentum with hotter discussions about the international pressure on one side and the one-state solution/danger on the other. The roots of the joint action that the Israeli Anarchists Against the Wall are involved in is in the same process that started in the first post-Marxist anti-neoliberalist globalization uprising in Chiapas 01-01-94. The Peoples' Global Action and the confrontations with the WTO and later also with the G8 originated in the 1997 Second pro-Zapatist Encounter in Spain (a workshop I participated in). In the European Peoples' Global Action 2002 at Leiden we had a workshop on the struggle in Palestine (with a significant Israeli presence) which raised the idea of a joint camp (materialized in the Mas'ha camp in 2003) which initiated the joint struggle against the separation fence and the Anarchists Against the Wall part of it. We do not know for sure which confrontational struggle contributes to any other struggle, and to the world struggle, but we are all connected, inspiring and inspired by each other. ... read full story / add a comment

In spite of increasing worldwide political and economic (B.D.S) pressure, the Israeli State is increasing its efforts to transfer Palestinians - both within the 1948 borders and the 1967 ones. The efforts to transfer Palestinians from area C of the West Bank is being done with the help of the colonialist settler terror and to the State's efforts, though Israeli activists join the Palestinians to resist or even sabotage. The Israeli media are reporting again and again on the third Intifada that is gradually intensifying, and on the warning by generals that the present refusal of the State to yield is dangerous. The social ferment and buds of struggle are not ceding to the drums of war. In the popular weekend struggles in Bil'in, Ni'lin, Nabi Saleh, and Qaddum, the State forces' repression is not consistent. Sometimes the repression is milder and sometimes it is harsher but we still cannot decipher the pattern. [Italiano] ... read full story / add a comment

textPalestine-Israel,The joint struggle and the vicious Israeli transfer efforts 05:28 Wed 01 Oct by Ilan S. 0 comments

Arkib (1948 Bedouins), Bil'in, Dahams (Ramla 1948 village), East Jerusalem (occupied 1967 mainly Sheikh Jarah, Shuafat, and the Bedouins of the region) Ma'asarah, Nabi Saleh, Ni'ilin, Qaddum, South of Hebron Hills - the main locations of the joint struggles the anarchists against the wall are involved in. As the Israeli pretending of striving for any kind of peace was exposed, the transfer efforts are intensified. It seems the hazards taking and gambling of Israel on the continuation of the occupation is increasing. The Israeli government count on the pro Israeli lobby of the US right and the strategic value of Israel in the present troubled time and recklessly disregard the mounting international pressure... though the Israeli officials and the public keep worrying in public about the economic and political pressures.

ISIS, subcontractor of the states that pursue income strategies on the region, is attacking people while yelling “islamic state!” and “holy war, jihad!”. People are suffering from hunger and thirst, getting ill, getting injured; migrating ad dying. They are still fighting in that struggle for existence. People are fighting not for the schemes and strategies around meeting tables, not for income, but for their freedom.

Though Israel failed in its last open assault on the Gaza Strip, it still succeed in its transfer efforts. The drowning of a refugee ship with 450 mainly Gaza people reflect the partial success of Israel transfer efforts that for the never ended efforts since 1948. The siege on Gaza join the pressure on both Palestinians within the 1948 borders and that of the 1967. The big masses were driven out during the 1948 and 1967 wars, but efforts continued with all means possible. Some expelled by force some were moved within the border as pressure to "voluntary transfer". Within the 1967 borders, the Israeli efforts are targeted on the villages and Bedouins living in area C where the joint struggle to resist it is mainly focused in the South of Hebron Hills. And the joint struggle in Arkib, Dahamsh (1948 borders), and Bil'in, Ma'asara, Nabi Saleh, Ni'ilin, Qaddum, Sheikh Jarah (East Jerusalem) continue "as usual".

The 50-day war on Gaza ended, after Israel begged for a ceasefire and yielded to major demands from Hamas (some kept in secret even from Israeli government ministers). A majority of Israelis admit that Israel did not win the war but with difficulty admit that Hamas had the upper hand. Ministers passed two weeks ago a classified Cabinet document containing a proposal to place an international force in Gaza, which may mean the end of Israel's occupation of the Gaza Strip and the opening of the Ghetto... and may be a precedent to what could be the end of the occupation of the West Bank). In Israel, the "radical" left is back to "normal"... though many more activists are contemplating joining the comrades who had already lost hope and emigrated. It seems the international pressures of the imperial powers and the advances of the boycott movement are bringing the end of the 1967 occupation sooner than expected. [Italiano]

textPalestine-Israel, The war assault on Gaza failed to bring the expected results and even back fired* 14:09 Sun 24 Aug by Ilan S. 0 comments

The war Israel started with the Hamas was intended to keep it weaker but independent of the west bank authority. A month and a half and Israel cannot stop the Hamas firing of rockets on Israel. The Hamas raised its demand about the lifting of the siege (closer) and the Israeli prime minister failed go get the support of his coalition for the needed compromise. To diminish the losses and to save face Israel with US backing are passing the decision to the UN security council the Israeli ruling elite evaded successfully so many years. The mounting economic pressures create cracks in the Israeli ruling elite and even the populist coalition party head - the foreign minister, start to promote the end of the 1967 occupation. And the joint popular grass root struggle continue - within Israel at the Arkib Bedouins as focus, Bil'in, Ma'asara, Neby Saleh, Ni'ilin, Qaddum, Sheikh Jarrah, South Hebron Hills. [Italiano]

Liberals and progressive forces support the Democratic Party in elections, even though humanity is facing a number of interconnected threats and nightmarish catastrophes: economic, ecological/climate, and others. Democratic liberals, while perhaps the "lesser evil" to the Republican reactionaries, have no solutions to the objective dangers which threaten society with great suffering and destruction. The only real alternative is popular mass struggle or defeat--socialist-anarchism or catastrophes.

In the first half of 2014, the struggles of diverse categories of workers were taken to the streets to the dismay of bosses and governors. The powerful’s counterattack was supported with the help of the mainstream media, which tried to criminalise the protests and demobilise the strugglers. This happened before, during and after the World Cup – a time in which the news sought to legitimise the violent actions of the repressive apparatus of the state and its leaders. Following this came the political persecutions and arrests of dozens of protestors in an authoritarian manner, violating democratic means and human rights. [Português]

In this article, Troaditis examines the transitional period between the appearance of the general socialist organisation Socialist Brotherhood and the forming of some clearly anarchist groupings. It’s a period that there is nothing remained from Democratic Association of the People (of 1870s Patras) as some of their members have either become moderate socialists or simply have disappeared, and a new and fresh wave of anarchists is starting to be visible in town. This moment is just a step before of the formation of the anarchist communist newspaper-collective “Epi Ta Proso” (“Forward”) in 1896.
