It takes time till a new village that started to involve in the persistent non-armed popular struggle catch the consistent weekend demonstrations. Beit Dajan seems to be the new addition, but only the coming weeks will tell. This week the hard core is consisted with Beit Ummar, Bil'in, A-Dik, Ma'asara, Nabi Saleh, Ni'ilin, Qaddum, Sheikh Jarrah, to whom are added the South Hebron actions in support of harassed farmers, and the occupied Jerusalem neighborhood Silwan. Qalandia checkpoint which see more often actions had its focus this week too. La revuelta en los pueblos de alrededor de Alhoceima se incrementa y se extienden los enfrentamientos. A pesar de haber sido declarado el toque de queda en Ait Buayash, prohibido a toda persona salir a la calle y estar el pueblo cercado por las fuerzas represivas, muchos jóvenes se han refugiado en las montañas próximas y desde ahí acosan a la policía. Los enfrentamientos continúan. Una consistente forza composta da polizia e operai comunali è stata impiegata alle 3.30 dell'8 marzo, Giornata Internazionale delle Donne, per sgomberare la tendopoli di Occupy Dame Street. La tendopoli è stata del tutto demolita nel corso dello sgombero, intimiditi i camperisti e sequestrati i loro beni personali. A large force of Garda and council workers were deployed at 3.30am today, International Women's Day, to clear Occupy Dame Street (ODS) camp. The camp was completely demolished in the course of the eviction, campers intimidated and their personal property stolen. This was a level of force way out of proportion with the numbers in the camp (about 15 people) and stands in contrast with the lack of resources put into investigating what happened at Anglo, the collapse of which has left a debt of 26,000 Euro on every single person in the country. The end of February saw 19 Shell to Sea campaigners, including a WSM member, being prosecuted on 80 charges for civil disobediance against Shell's decade long attempt to impose an experimental high pressure raw gas pipeline on the communities of Erris. Over 8,000 euro in fines were handed down by this special sitting of the Belmullet court and Shell to Sea spokesperson Terence Conway was given two 3-month prison sentences under section 8 of the Public Order Act for blocking the road on two seperate occasions, a 'crime' that anyone following the struggle will be aware Shell's private security company committs three times a day with the co-operation of the Gardai.

Il tema comune delle manifestazioni del week end è stato il 18° anniversario del massacro della Moschea Ibrahimi da parte del colono Dottor Goldstein e dell'intensa violenza che ne seguì... come se la punizione delle vittime palestinesi fosse la logica conclusione. La manifestazione a Hebron ha portato centinaia di Palestinesi, una consistente parte degli israeliani di anarchici contro il muro ed altri attivisti israeliani - più di 100, simile nei numeri a quelli della settimana precedente per il 7° anniversario delle manifestazioni a Bil'in. The common theme of the week end demonstration was the anniversary 18 of the Ibrahimi Mosque massacre by the colonialist settler Dr. Goldstein and the intense harassment that followed it.... as if the punishment of the Palestinian victims is the logical conclusion.
