Gerardo Gatti Antuna was one of the founders of CNT. He was also in the organizations Resistencia Obrero Estudiantil (ROE: Workers' and Students' Resistance), FederaciĆ³n Anarquista Uruguyaya (FAU: Anarchist Federation of Uruguay), and Partido por la Victoria del Pueblo (People's Victory Party). In 1973 his family moved to Argentina. He disappeared on 9 June 1976 at the age of 45 years by the military forces of Argentina and Uruguay. It is believed that he died as a result of torture...<br />
