Criminalisation and Non -regulation of Rogue Agencies
A group of activists comprising individuals, Workers Solidarity Movement, and leftist political parties formed a
Reproductive Rights Movement based in Feminist Principles of parity of esteem and International Solidarity
to highlight the Irish political approach to the abortion issue:
The Founding docs of the organisation have guided the activists through a maelstrom of appalling
approach to the issue of Criminalising Irish Women and Girls for seeking abortions in a country that
does not advocate the human right to medical intervention in Crisis Pregnancy, nor the right to Choice
in Private Health and Reproductive rights issues.
Campaigning against False Medical information and Rogue Agencies
The History of the movement is detailed in timeline through the blogspot and the new .org site, which includes
a detailed timeline on Irish Approach to Abortion Law:
The founding aims and priciples of the movement include the wish of the group to create solidarity links with
other groups who are experiencing the issues of political approach to basic human rights provisions to women
including access to adequate health care, free , safe and legal abortion in Ireland and sex education programmes
in our schools.
An ongoing campaign to highlight the widespread practice of rogue Pregnancy counselling services in Ireland
has garnered an incredible and far-reaching support: http://www.indymedia.ie/article/88987.
There are regular meetings in Dublin with feed-in from the regions including the Northern Irish Pro-Choice Movement.
Upcoming events and meetings regarding the issue of non-regulation of agencies that provide false medical information
to women and girls are detailed through events at indymedia.ie, the Blogspot and the Site which is in the process
of design.
