Two years since the cowardly assassination of comrade Lorenzo San Pablo Cervantes by paramilitaries and White Guards - political state terrorism implemented by Ulises Ruiz against the social movement - the most aberrant impunity still persists, as up to now not one of the physical or intellectual murderers have been punished.

Two years since the cowardly assassination of comrade Lorenzo San Pablo Cervantes by paramilitaries and White Guards - political state terrorism implemented by Ulises Ruiz against the social movement - the most aberrant impunity still persists, as up to now not one of the physical or intellectual murderers have been punished. On the contrary, they are trying to cover up their impunity with a payoff that the family of Lorenzo San Pablo Cervantes rejects, while the murderers have not been punished.

The cloak of impunity which conceals certain facts confirms the ineptness of the country's justice system and the decomposition of the state justice system, which, taken with the criminal events of recent days recounted by the media, confirms that impunity has some outstanding debts about to be cashed in by the bosses.

Accompanying these facts are the clandestine graves that up to now have not been explained - barbaric and illegal acts that can only qualify as the actions of a true dictatorship.

The acts of organized crime occurring in the state were used tendentiously by the government of Ulises Ruiz through his manipulation of the House of Representatives to promote the adoption of the death penalty or life imprisonment, knowing without a doubt that we have a rotten justice system that acts in a partisan manner. Because of this we have no doubt that those who will be put in the chair of the accused will be the social activists and those criminals that were detained by mistake.

Not content with all these primitive approaches that are attacks against human rights, Ulises Ruiz is trying to stay in power for a few more years in order to continue beating and repressing the true political opposition and with it gain some time to try and repair the deteriorated image of his regime. This effort should be rebuked and vetoed by those who still have a little dignity, which is why we call out to the most diverse human rights groups and bodies to rise up and not allow such an aberration.

In the face of such impunity that reigns in Oaxaca, we must continue denouncing and resisting until we achieve the longed for change that the APPO has outlined.

1. - In the coming days a procession will occur in homage to and memory of Lorenzo Sam Pablo Cervantes on the second anniversary of his murder, August 22, having as its principal demand the demand of justice.

The procession will be at 3 PM, leaving from the Seven Regions Fountain, heading to the radio station "La Ley 710", the place where our comrade in the struggle fell, and where a memorial will be created and later on the cross will be raised.

We make a call of solidarity for all those who identify with the social cause to bring candles, flowers, or join the procession carrying placards and signs symbolizing the demand for justice.

Later on the procession with continue to the zocalo where there will be a political-cultural event. There will be the exhibition of a mural, a table of complaints, and a performance by the musical groups Raices and Otra Guitarra.

2. - We continue demanding the freedom for the political prisoners from Xanica: Abraham Ramirez Vasquez, Juventino and Noel Garcia Cruz, of those from Santa Maria Ixcotel: Pedro Castillo Aragon, Miguel Angel Garcia and Victor Hugo Mtz. For the absolute freedom of those processed and sentenced, such as our comrade Orlando Sosa Lopez, who has been sentenced to three years in prison and a 50 day fine.
