In-depth intro to social anarchism, influenced by platformism/especifismo
Subjected to all sorts of distortions and misinformation, anarchism is among the most poorly understood socio-political theories today. Yet, with the fall of the Soviet Empire and the bankruptcy of liberalism, anarchism has informed the practice of diverse popular movements for change. In turn, these movements have enriched the anarchist tradition’s understanding of power, organization and action. It is a living praxis, constantly being re-articulated, and continues to attract people from a surprising number of backgrounds and experiences. For a new generation groping for solutions to an endless stream of problems, anarchism can be a lens through which we can better understand the world as it is, focus in on the issues and movements that matter most, and act with clear purpose.
