Today decision about teachers' strike
Headquaters of Polish Teachers' Union (ZNP) will make decision about protests in schools on Tuesday.
The results of a survey made by the ZNP among teachers shows that 80 % of them want a one-day strike.
Unionists want the government to present some plan of significant salary rises. The Union also wants the possibility to retire under previous rules.

Jump To Comment: 1Headquarters of Polish Teachers' Union ( ZNP ) decided that 27th of May there will be a warning teachers' strike. ZNP is now in collective disputation with government.
In ZNP's opinion, this year pay rises for teachers (increase in salaries from 185 to 200 PLN ) are too small. Union depend increase of teachers' salaries and workers of education in 50% to 2010. ZNP wants also possibility to retire on previous rules.
The decision of ZNP's headquarters doesn't force teachers to strike however. It will be there where majority of teachers gathering will want this form of protest.
