From a Basque Antifa comrade...

The last Friday 12th of October, different Spanish Fascist groups had a march planned in the town of Donostia (San Sebastian) in the Basque Country to celebrate the Spanish National day.

La Falange (Franco's party), Combat Spain (a shit version of Spanish C18), Blood & Honour Spain and other small groups of scumbags had planned from months ago to march in the Basque Country. The march was at 5 o'clock in the square of the city centre and 8 buses from all over spain with about 500 old fascists and young boneheads head into Donostia. Basque Country Antifa (over 2000 people) organised a March on the same place at 3 oclock with the reading 'FASCIST NOT WELCOME TO THE BASQUE COUNTRY'.

The police tried to kick the antifascists from the square at about 4.30 so it was clear for the fash to march. In the main time the buses with all the fash was waiting in a car park in the outskirts of the city totally protected by the police waiting for the area to be cleared. The antifascist youth were well organised and they were gonna stop the fash coming there by any means. A massive battle started between police and antifascist youths. The antifascists barricade the whole of the city center with buses on fire and other things. After two hours of riots and fire the fash had to be sent back (with police protection all the time), as it was impossible to stop the riots in the city. Few cops injured and two antifascists arrested...
