On May 19 a march of about 30 people got together to make its way to the National Archives in Ottawa. In the building there was a symposium about National Security where they would talk about Security Certificates and other things which are used to detain people with no evidence and such.

Currently there are 5 muslim men held with no evidence other than that the spy agency CSIS and the RCMP suspect that they are "terrorists". One of them, Mohamed Harkat will be deported back to Algeria soon where his life will become a lot worse...the last time it happened to someone else they were jailed and tortured without end.

The march reached the building without any difficulties. We stood around the entrance while speakers came and talked about what is going on inside and of the general situation. As this was happening security and police started appearing on the inside.

At about quarter after noon we knew that Anne McLennan, Deputy Prime Minister of Canada was getting ready to start her speech inside so we chose that time to go inside. We went to one of the unlocked doors and someone yanked it open and a number of people started going inside and at the same time police and security guards came running out from the inside and there was scuffles and shoving until we achieved to keep the door open while standing just outside.

Every now and then a member of the symposium would try to enter and we would block them from going in and the police would shove us back and let them in. Eventually the cops started pushing from inside and outside (cops started appearing behind us) and got the door shut. While this happening a person must have smashed a glass panel because there was shattering that could be heard. Then a minute or two later another glass panel was shattered and one could see about three pigs grab the person who supposedly broke the second glass panel and arrested him. The second arrestee was grabbed by the neck by one of the cops who got him on the carotid pressure-point. Eventually after a few seconds of struggle he was taken to a pig car.

A female, according to the pigs, also broke a third glass panel but they did not arrest her yet. While the group was leaving the area and was walking down a sidewalk they attacked them and arrested her along with another male who didn't do anything but wear an anecdotal costume of a judge.

Many tourists were around as well as other Canadians. Whether they know what this is about or not I think that in this event we showed them that Canada is not the cute, innocent country that it makes itself look like. We showed people that there is plenty of filth and corruption. We also scared those bastards who were inside waiting to go in to the symposium.

Canada's government at the moment is one of the countries that are taking part in what is happening today in Haiti. Canadian corporations today are responsible for making the bullets that go to Iraq. Canada is the country that supports the killing of Palestinians. The Canadian State stands for imprisoning people for no reason other than tthat they are arabs and muslims and so called "terrorists".

Down with the government!
Down with the state!
