Note regarding 5th FAG Congress

[Brazil] We are please to announce to our comrades, supporters, groups and organizations that on 7th May, our Organization concluded the last round of its highest decion-making organ, the General Congress.

We are please to announce to our comrades, supporters, groups and organizations that on 7th May, our Organization concluded the last round of its highest decion-making organ, the General Congress. The 5th General Congress was dominated by the strategic debate for the long, medium and short term, analysis of the current economic phase on which our political practice will be based, and approval of our programme for the next two years. We will be making available a version of our economic analysis for public distribution.

We also announce that our new External Relations Secretary is our comrade Rafael C. (fag.poa@terra.com.br), who will be assisted with our comrade in Europe, Ricardo (rio12roto@yahoo.com). Ricardo will act as a conduit for international relations in Europe, where he now lives, and is fully informed about our militant projects. At present he is involved with the campaign for support of comrade Gabriel Roser, a political prisoner of the Argentinian "Movimiento de Unidad Popular - MUP".

Among other things, during the 5th FAG Congress we announced the 10th anniversary of the founding of our Organization next November. For this occasion there will be a libertarian political and cultural event to which we are pleased to invite all our comrades and supporters. Visiting delegations will be accomodated.
