On Wednesday, 15th of November revolutionary anarchists marched in Istanbul to salute the Swedish strikers and to act in solidarity with the anarcho-syndicalist SAC union (Central Organization of the Workers of Sweden). The march organized by AKI (Anarchist Communist Initiative) was joined by members from Anarchist Bloc and in total 30 people participated.

The march began at 1 p.m. and ended just before the Swedish embassy, because more than 50 armored policemen closed down the street. The following slogans are shouted during the march: "Workers united will defeat the capital" "Capitalism is occupation, states are occupiers", "Class war against the occupation", "No liberation on our own, all together not alone", "Long live class solidarity", "Long live workers' unity, people's fraternity", "All states are murderers" and "Rebel, revolt, anarchy". After the march a press declaration written by AKI is read. The declaration emphasized the universality of the neoliberal assaults against the working class and urged for militant and coordinated worldwide struggles which are exemplified in the current strike in Sweden.
