Statement by Anarşist Komünist İnisiyatif

Anarchist Communist Initiative is calling all anarchist and libertarian communists to solidarity with the strike in Sweden and the anarcho-syndicalist union, SAC.

15th Nov, Solidarity with Swedish strikers!

Anarchist Communist Initiative is calling all anarchist and libertarian communists to solidarity with the strike in Sweden and the anarcho-syndicalist union, SAC. On Wednesday, 15th of November, when there is a general strike against the neo-liberal attack, we will gather in front of the Galatasaray post-office at 1.00pm and march to the Swedish consulate.

Solidarity with SAC (Central Organisation of the Workers of Sweden) union!

In a European context dominated by the same anti-social policies (precarity, privatization of public services, deregulation, lay-offs and delocalizations), the Swedish government is not lagging behind.

On 16th November 2006, the new ultra-liberal government will introduce a new Bill on unemployment before the Swedish Parliament. This Bill includes various measures (such as the reduction of unemployment benefits) whose consequences will simply involve even greater precarity in the living conditions of Sweden's unemployed workers.

To protest against this situation, our anarcho-syndicalist comrades in the Sveriges Arbetares Centralorganisation (SAC) have called for a General Strike to be held on Wednesday 15th November.

The same day, in solidarity with the SAC, together with anarcho-syndicalists from the CGT in Spain, CNT in France, AC-Interpro in Portugal and CK-LA/Labor Initiative in Poland, we will organize actions to support the strikers..

No war between the peoples!

No peace between classes!

Solidarity with the striking workers!
