Statement of solidarity

OAE supports completely the anarchocommunist federation of France Alternative Libertaire in one of most direct repression cases that this organisation has suffered by the French state

Having already unfolded in front of us, for many weeks now, a student occupation movement, at its big part beyond and outside from the control of the stalinist and other political parties, against the educational reforms of the New Democracy, the Federation of Anarchists of Greece (OAE) supports completely the anarchocommunist federation of France Alternative Libertaire in one of most direct repression cases that this organisation has suffered by the French state.

Alternative Libertaire, with other anarchist organisations of the country, participated actively and cordially in the struggle against the «eminent» law CPE, according to which millions young students in France would be led in the ugliest precarity just to glorify the capitalist interests, a struggle where it gave all its forces and which was gained (partly), after the Bilepen government was forced to take back the hateful CPE.

And only this activity of Alternative Libertaire appears enough for the French government and its repressive mechanisms to orchestrate a systematic repression against the organisation, having at this moment many of its members waiting trials facing categories of resistance, sedition and other.

Having, therefore, thought that the struggle against CPE and the struggle against the educational reforms of the New Democracy it is a common struggle and possessed by class anarchist and revolutionary solidarity, OAE demands the direct release of our comrades.
